On Flashdance's What A Feeling sung by beautiful Irene Cara, Adam's body moves up and down at high speed, while Jessica and John wink at each other that only those who practice the floor exercises will be able to understand.

Jessica immediately spotted this particularity of Adam on their first date. At the café, his shirt full of Coca-Cola was the result of music that dragged his arms and chest into an improvised choreography, as she burst out laughing. Later, he tore the arm off a Balmain jacket when he raged in a store that played old music by Jermaine Jackson and Pia Zadora. Jessica understood at that moment that like some insects that mate while singing, her boyfriend only becomes active when the music accompanies her daily life.

When Adam lifts the basketball, his forehead blushes as he makes a first observation:

[It's really very heavy.] At school, Adam doesn't remember the last sports class during which he sweated. His comrades who have always ignored him, have never passed the ball to him and the teachers who have pitied him, give him a passing grade to salute his effort to be present. However, today, this ball in his hands, Adam, who, taking into account his little hands, has always played basketball with soccer balls, has such difficulty holding this thing in his arms that he thinks he is carrying the world on his shoulders.

A quick glance to his right to observe his girlfriend whose thighs inspire him more than ever and Adam, who is a man, thinks that he cannot send a bad image of himself back to his beautiful. For a long time his eyes were directed towards the basketball basket that taunted him at an impressive height. His left hand is placed under this balloon, which is definitely too big for him, his knees bend more or less smoothly and then after a small jump, his right hand pushes to the back of the balloon.

The balloon rises slowly. As if it was floating, more than as if it were propelled, it does not turn on itself. During this moment of grace during which time seems to have stopped, Jessica stares at the object in flight with her clenched fists. With a beating heart, she prays for Adam to score this stupid basket, which would also give him some self-confidence. The gesture was beautiful, the jump adapted and yet the gods are not in Adam's favor and when the ball falls to the ground again even before reaching the height of the basketball basket, Adam's eyes move towards to the same parquet floor. A tear is already in the corner of his eye but Adam refuses to give up this time. Jessica rented the gym specifically for him to test his skills, bought him a jogging suit and even played What A Feeling for him. A feeling of a second wind that he didn't think he had relieves his tension and depression as he lifts his head and smiles at Jessica.

For her part, when her eyes meet Adam's, Jessica, who thought she would stop the session here so as not to demoralize Adam, is very surprised to find in her eyes what Rocky called The Tiger's rage when he looked in his mirror. The desire to win, the desire to surpass oneself, not to give up to become the one who will reach the first place. Very satisfied with this behaviour, very adapted to her future King, Jessica wallows again in her armchair. She takes a new lollipop out of her pocket, unpacks it and starts to play around with her tongue, while Adam who stops breathing does everything he can to avoid seeing an invitation from his girlfriend.
