Chapter 35 (1/2)
It was a lake.
It was past seven, and the moon was hanging high up in the night sky. At this very moment, a gentle breeze was blowing, and moonlight was shining splendidly across the entire lake, making the lake seem like a giant jewel.
A phrase appeared in Ning Fei’s mind — shining, gleaming, shimmering waves.
This was way too beautiful.
The viewers also gasped in surprise.
‘Dear me. What did I see?’
‘It’s too beautiful!’
‘Absolutely beautiful.’
‘Nature is simply too magical.’
‘The scenic lake and the pure autumn moon… The surface is just like a mirror, untouched and spotless.’
‘Excellent words!’
‘That’s the advantage of being educated and cultured. We can only curse!’
‘Brother, you’re right!’
The webcast room was booming with comments.
The drone continued to film the lake.
The lake was on top of a slope, with two creeks flowing towards the lake. It looked as though the stream of water from the top of the mountain had flowed down and reached a hollow area. And over time, it had turned into a lake.
A lake was great!
It was much more convenient than a river or stream.
Ning Fei hastened his footsteps towards the lake.
No one had imagined that a lake would be found in the depths of the mountains, miles away from human habitation.
Most of the viewers were envious of the webcaster. Ning Fei had encountered and experienced something they might never do so in a lifetime — true, unspoiled nature.
Ning Fei took off his shirt and removed everything on him. He then bundled Little Falcon with his shirt.
“Little Falcon, wait here.”
Little Falcon nodded in response. Little Falcon was very smart as it lay quietly in the shirt, screeching softly in contentment.
Ning Fei was topless once again. He had half the idea to remove his pants, but after some contemplation, he didn’t as he was being filmed.
He had planned to even remove his underwear.
But it was certainly a terrible idea. He could already imagine the various headlines tomorrow — Mysterious Man Swimming Naked During Webcast.
Besides, there might be piranhas lurking beneath the surface or some other danger. However, Ning Fei was quite confident that this lake was safe as the water came from the top of the mountain. If a lake was surrounded by hot springs or volcano rocks, then it might be dangerous.
Ning Fei dove into the lake bravely. He wasn’t a professional swimmer, but he had been swimming since he was a young boy. Thus, he was pretty good at it.
He had been climbing the whole day and was drenched in perspiration. He would definitely feel better after a swim.
‘Look at his swimming pool.’
‘I used to admire the private pools that belonged to the rich. But now, I am even more jealous of this host’s pool.’
‘The water looks so clear and sparkling.’
‘The cleanest spring water.’
‘Taking a bath in a lake of spring water? No one can compare to that!’
The viewers exclaimed with surprise.
Most people had only seen a lake in parks, and those lakes were dirty. And the only thing they could do was to look at it or, at most, take a boat across it.
