Without looking back, I start walking towards the entrance of the apartment building.

As soon as I hear the car drive away, I turn around and watch until I could no longer see the limousine.

The smile I initially had has since faded, and it's now replaced with a neutral expression.

While I was a little rough back there with him at one point, it still wasn't enough to convince me that Jett wouldn't freak out once he gets to know me even more.
