”I wrote it for you. At first, it was about longing for you from afar at the library but now that I have you close I realize that there is more to it than that. You have suffered alone for far too long. I do not want you to think about death, although I understand that it will be difficult. I want you to think about me and you, as well as what you want in the future. Can you do that for me?” Gabriel kisses her lips softly then backs away looking at her with all the love that he could.

Amelia blushes slightly and nods her head. ”I will try my best but sometimes it is so hard. Thank you for writing that song for me. I will keep it in my heart and never forget that you wrote it just for me.” She reaches her hands up, placing them on his cheek and kisses him on the lips.

Before she can pull away Gabriel kisses her a few times. ”Don't worry, I will do everything that I can to help you live with the help of Inari and the Goddess of the mountain. They have been giving you a gift to help you so don't worry as much.” He slowly gets up while still holding on to Amelia.

”I trust you.” Amelia rests her head on his shoulder. Her arms rest in her lap as she relaxes in his arms. ”I feel safe and loved right now.”

Gabriel smiles at her words. ”I'm glad that I make you feel that way. I want you to feel safe and loved. Anytime you worry, just think about that song I wrote for you, my Angel.” He steps onto the porch and slowly sets her down. ”We do need to brush off as we are both covered in cherry blossoms.” He pulls one from her hair as he lets her go. He watches it flutter to the ground.

Amelia was facing the garden and looked at the trail of petals on the ground. ”There must have been a lot if it left a trail like that.” She points to the trail and giggles. She slowly stands up and shakes her body to get the remaining petals off.

Looking at the path he laughs before shaking the petals off as well. ”Well, I guess that gives away who was out here. Not that it would be hard to guess as you seem to like that tree and I have always come out at night humming to myself.” He holds out his arm and waits to guide her back into the bedroom

Amelia takes his arm, ”Thank you, I usually keep my feelings in and not let them out but you are making it hard for me to hold my feelings back.” They enter the room and Amelia slips her sandals off and walks to the cabinet that contains her nighttime yukata and she pulls it out. ”I would like to… ummm… change into something meant to sleep in.”

Amelia nods her head yes and watches as he leaves the room sighing. 'It is embarrassing to think that I didn't want him to leave but also that I did want him to leave. I am lucky he understands me.' She unties the obi and the yukata starts to slide off her body. She lets it slide down and steps out of the fabric. She moves and puts on the new yukata. She looks down and sees the petals that she missed and giggles before she goes to open the door slightly.

Gabriel walked to his room. He closed the door quickly and looked around the room. 'My lust is slightly annoying, but I know that it is just a part of who I am. I lust for her and only her. There will never be another that will make me feel this way.' He takes off his clothing and changes into the nighttime yukata and finds a few petals that fell around him. He adjusts the clothing until it is not noticeable anymore. 'Why now do you need to act up?' He left his room and went back and as he reached the door slide open. Gabriel opened the door more and hugged her from behind. ”I'm back.”

”Welcome back.” Amelia touched his arm with her hand blushing and leaned back against his chest. ”We both took about the same amount of time.”

”Yes, I didn't want to be away from you for too long. If my room wasn't so messy we could spend the night there but your room is equally as nice. Come, let's go lay down.” Gabriel lets her go and then walks to the bedding while holding her hand.

Amelia holds his hand and follows him to the bedding that is still set up near the back door. ”I like to look out the door, see nature, and fall asleep with the gentle breeze flowing through the room. I hope that you do not mind.”

”Not at all. We slept here before. I just need to leave in the morning and get ready for the meeting. I want to look the best that I can for you.” Gabriel gets into the bedding first and pats in front of him.
