”Amelia, dear. You do what is right for you. Anytime that you need to rest please do so.” Edna patted her hand.

”Gabriel, I will come when Miyuki asks for me. I know it has been a long night for you as well so you should rest.” Clarence turned to Amelia, ”Rest up well and I will see you in a bit.”

Miyuki cleaned up their spot and brought the two trays up. She followed them into the hallway.

Gabriel looked at Miyuki, ”Can you see if the snack you bring for Amelia is more of that dessert that was made. She really enjoyed it.”

”Yes, Of course, I can. I am happy that you asked. I was going to check to see if there was any more.” Miyuki smiled and went to the kitchen.

”Gabriel walked to his room and opened the door. He pulled out a vase and placed it in the hallway. He then went to the closet and pulled out the picture that Miyuki hid and set it back up and uncovered it. ”This is how I saw you on the day of our separate marriage meetings. I haven't finished it but I wasn't expecting that you would be living with us.” He grabbed the sketching supplies.

Amelia touched the painting. ”It is a shame you couldn't pursue this talent. You have such amazing skills. Not that I do not want you to become a doctor as you are amazing at that too.”

”I get just what you are saying, Dear. I will still paint but it will be only for you now. I will be your personal doctor and take care of you.” Gabriel came up behind her and gave her a short hug but his head was resting on her shoulder. He turned to look at her.

At the same time, Amelia turned her head and their lips touched. She moved away and was blushing deeply. ”I'm sorry I was just going to look at you and then our lips connected.” Her face goes red as she blushes deeply.

Gabriel held out his hand to her. ”It is okay. One day we will both get used to it. He placed her hand on his chest. ”Just like you this makes me nervous. My heart races only when I am with you. Only you can make me feel this way.”
