”Come in. Itsuki, you have a visitor.” Amelia finished the vase and then it started to rain outside.
Itsuki jumped up and ran to the door as his father's voice sounded in the room. ”Papa! I had so much fun. I am glad that you got some sleep.”
”Oh? Is that so? What did you do?” Subaru stepped in and lifted up Itsuki in a big bear hug.
”It's a secret!! But just know that I had a lot of fun Papa.” Itsuki hugged him back happily. He hugged Subaru and smiled happily.
”Well that is okay. As long as you had fun my son. I could not hope for more.” Subaru looked at Gabriel and then at the girl that was standing next to Gabriel.
”Amelia, this gentleman is the reason that I was able to return back home to you so fast. His name is Subaru.” Gabriel introduced Amelia to Subaru.
”It is a pleasure to meet you Subaru. Thank you for helping out Gabriel. It really means a lot to me.” She bowed and then looked at Subaru.
”Honestly I would do it all over again. Gabriel is not a slacker and works fast. He also gave me a helping hand and is going to be teaching me how to improve my medicine making skills. So there is no reason for thanking me. I am after all getting something out of this.” Subaru scratches his head embarrassed.
”But it does not change the fact that you were the one to help him get home faster. So that is what I am thanking you for.” Amelia misled and held onto Gabriel's sleeve.
Gabriel turned and hugged Amelia. ”This is the love of my life. The girl I was telling you about while I was helping you with the herbs.”
”She is lovely Gabriel. I think that you found yourself a lovely bride. She is very considerate. This is the one you needed that root for?” Subaru smiled and watched the couple.
”Yes, that is correct. She is the one that needs that medicine. I will do everything that I can to teach you how to become faster as a thank you for helping me out.” Gabriel let go of Amelia and then there was another knock at the door.
Miyuki opens the door. ”I have been told that it is now time for dinner. So if everyone would please follow me.”
Sara held out her hand to Mayumi and watched as the girl raced to her side. ”I hope that you will like what is for dinner.”
