“Yes, Lord Messenger!”

Not only was the dead leaf messenger strong, but he was also smart. He knew that the magical beasts were no match for Xu Hang and his group. It would be better to just follow them.

After the magical beasts received the firecrackers, they split into groups under the leadership of a few tier 4 beasts. Then, they chased after Xu Hang.

Meanwhile, the dead leaf messenger sat down cross-legged and began to apply medicine on his injured arm.

As for Xu Hang and the rest, they were fleeing at high speed.

“Hill, tend the man’s injuries.”

“Master, he’s not injured. He just fainted from electrocution.”

“That’s good. Let’s get out of here as quickly as possible!”

Xu Hang stepped harder on the accelerator.

Suddenly, a huge bee appeared. It was the size of an adult.

The bee was a tier 3 magical beast!

“Master, what should we do? Should we kill it?”

“Wait, this bee has no intention of fighting us. It’s keeping its distance.”

Without warning, the bee took out a cylindrical object.

“Is that… a firecracker?”

Xu Hang was surprised.

This was the first time he saw a firecracker in this world.

The bee lit up the firecracker. A flare flew into the sky and exploded. There was red smoke left behind.

“They’re chasing us!”

Xu Hang turned pale.

However, there was no point in overthinking. All he could do was to try and shake off the bee off their trail.

Unfortunately, the bee had the advantage since it was more familiar with the area. It kept a close eye on Xu Hang.

“Hill, use the magic cannon to get rid of the bee!”

Hill immediately aimed the magic cannon at the bee behind them.

“Fire!”

The magic cannon was fired, but the bee easily dodged it.

Although the shot missed, Xu Hang did not panic. He ordered Hill to continue firing the magic cannon at the bee.

“Master, there’s no way we can hit it. The bee is too agile!”

“It doesn’t matter even if we can’t hit it,” replied Xu Hang.

“Huh?”

Hill was confused, but then he noticed that the distance between them and the bee got larger.

‘Is this the Master’s goal all along?’

Hill thought to himself.

He was right.

Xu Hang was actually using the recoil from the magic cannon to accelerate the magic four-wheeled car.

As Hill continued to fire the magic cannon, they got further and further away from the bee.
