Teacher Zhang’s sudden thunderous voice immediately woke up the sleeping Liu Xiyu. She practically jumped out of her chair from the surprise.

She became extremely nervous being caught red-handedly sleeping in class.

The players were truly terrified of this answer, even more than when Teacher Zhang asked Liu Xiyu a question.

She panicked while choosing between the two and said, “It should be 8…”

“En?” Teacher Zhang’s tone sunk.

“9! It’s 9!” The threatened Liu Xiyu immediately changed her answer in a swirl of panic.

Sure enough, upon hearing this answer, Teacher Zhang’s mouth split open from satisfaction.

He exposed a mouth full of sawtooth-shaped teeth and humbly nodded his head, saying, “Correct! Deserving to be called the student I’m most proud of! You answered correctly!”

“Liu Xiyu, sit down!”

As Teacher Zhang’s voice fell inside the classroom, Liu Xiyu hastily took her seat, using her small hand to soothe her palpitating chest and taking in small breaths as if celebrating her narrow escape.

However, as Liu Xiyu relaxed, the player’s expression turned graver.

Unexpectedly, she answered correctly. Could it be that there were people with disabilities who had died before?

How great must they have been to survive through six levels while being handicapped?

Ye Shangyu’s face gradually lost its color, while her forehead oozed out droplets of cold sweat. This wasn’t merely caused by the painful chalk, it was more of what she realized would happen the next few moments.

Not only was it Ye Shangyu, but Bai Yan quickly fixed his attention onto Teacher Zhang’s bloody mouth, which was wide opened like a sacrificial bowl, his face also began to look unsightly.

Teacher Zhang’s gaze, full of ill intent, hovered over each person’s body for a few long seconds. In the end, he finally settled on a decision and stretched out both hands, as if he were stretching pieces of rubber——

His hands were getting more and more akin to sharp hooks, suddenly piercing the black-shirt man’s and the middle-aged woman’s throats out of nowhere.

Before these two players could react to what was going on, their eyes had already rolled over until they turned completely white as he dragged the fresh corpses onto the platform.

After that, Teacher Zhang grabbed the two’s heads and banged them into the board. To all of their surprise, they were stuffed into the blackboard!

The two people’s corpses melted seamlessly into the flat board, and soon, the blackboard grew two simple drawings shaped like distorted people.

The two people’s drawings were outlined by red chalk, and their limbs were drawn crookedly, only retaining their most striking features.

But, what made people feel truly unpleasant was that there were crying faces in those drawings, and there seemed to be a few tears below their eyes, looking quite bizarre.

Looking at the simple drawings of the man and woman, Teacher Zhang gave a horizontal smile, his saw-like teeth coming into full view as he cackled, “Correct! There are 9 people, that’s just right!”

“This…!”

All of the surviving players turned rigid as though everyone was thrown into an icy cave.

They’ve already known for a long time that the hard levels were terrible and that it would be more horrible than the normal levels. But, seeing the dark-shirt man and the middle-aged woman die from no rhyme nor reason, it also couldn’t be helped that despair sneakily crept into their hearts’ view.

The dark-shirt man and the middle-aged woman also did nothing wrong. The dark-shirt man even solved a problem correctly earlier.

Yet, due to an NPC answering a question wrong, of her answering more than two people, they died unjustly. Before, it was they, the players, who would willfully exploit the NPCs. But now, how could they imagine that their lives were connected to an NPC’s mouth!
