96 Telling Everyone (1/2)
If Han Jie was not feeling well, she might have laughed. However, she was too weak to bother with other things. All she knew was that, since Bai Min was here, she don't need to go to the hospital.
She doesn't care about the situation but not the others around them, just like typical Han Jun.
”Bai Min, she is a guest,” He said with a frown.
Bai Min glared at him, ”and I am not? If I am not needed, then I will just leave.” He retorted. Who wants to work during their day-off? Not him. But in account of Han Jie, he still went. ”Han Jie! Go to the hospital, and I am not qualified to help you ever again!” He said before he attempted to turn around.
Before he could leave, however, Han Jun already grabbed his arm and held on tightly. ”Don't go.”
Bai Min was wearing something casual. White shirt and jeans. Because of this, he could feel Han Jun's warm hand on his skin. For some reason, it made his heartbeat so fast.
He glared at Han Jun, ”Let go!” Bai Min tried to free his arm from his hold, but Han Jun would not let go.
”Stay here!” They were at the same height, and their gazes were even. None of them were backing down as they silently glare at each other.
”JunJun… Don't bully Bai Min else I will tell everyone… I will tell everyone that you still piss on your bed when you were ten…” Someone suddenly spoke, cutting off the silence. Her voice was muffled and clearly sounding weak.
”Han Jie! Shut up! I was a kid back then!” Han Jun roared, his face red with embarrassment. Yet, he did not let go of Bai Min's arm. It was so easy to hold because Bai Min's arm is thin. He doesn't look weak, though for a doctor. But Han Jun felt that it was still nice to touch.
Just as he was thinking this, Han Jun saw Bai Min smiled cockily, ”Still not letting go?” He asked with a raised brow. Han Jun refused to move.
”Tsk. Han Jie, JunJun, is courting death. Don't blame me for not treating you.” Bai Min said gloatingly.
”JunJun! What is wrong with you? Do you like Bai Min to keep on pestering him?” Han Jie could not take it anymore. She needed a doctor and some peace. What is wrong with Han Jun today? Can't he see who the one needed in the room is?
Immediately, Han Jun released Bai Min's arm. He was about to leave when Bai Min called out, ”Bring this girl too. I don't need distraction as we have other egg things to do.” He said, dismissing Wang Jin in annoyance.
Wang Jin blush deepened in embarrassment. She could only help but glare at the man since he was there to work and help Han Jie regardless she wanted it or not. It wouldn't be good if she protested.
”I'm not leaving until I'm sure Han Jie tells me she's alright.” Wang Jin said in a determined voice.
”You can, after I checked her.” Bai Min said dismissively as his gaze shifted to Han Jun.
”I'll see her out.” Han Jun said, finally.
When they finally left, Bai Min and Han Jie was the only one in the room.
”Are you really not feeling well? Aside from your usual tantrums, the only time you don't want to go to the hospital is when you are pretending to be sick.” Bai Min said as he approached the bed. Han Jie was covering her face with a pillow, so he took the pillow away from her face.
”I really don't feel well,” Han Jie slowly sat on the bed with Bai Min's help. ”Did Han Jun made things difficult for you? She can actually stay. It's not that I have a disease that I can pass on around.”
Bai Min shrugged. ”I don't like to be around the people I don't like.” He said while opening his medical bag.
Han Jie nodded. Han Jun has a medium to balance himself. Probably he was treating Wang Jin with more courtesy since he is a businessman. In the business sense, Wang Jin is still a daughter of a well off family that can be used as a possible connection in the future.
She just didn't know why Wang Jin was there in their suite, but the vibes she was reading from the room clearly stated they don't Wang Jin around.
'Of course, Wang Jin wasn't reading the room.' Han Jie thought curiously. That was not the current problem, though.
”Bai Min, I need your help,” Han Jie suddenly said.
”I am helping you now already. Look at me and open your eyes,” He said. Han Jie did what she was told, and then Bai Min used a small flashlight to check her eyes.
”I mean, I need your help on something else,” She said. ”Did you see MeiMei outside?”
Bai Min frowned, ”She's back? I did not see her.”
”Where's my phone?” Han Jie looked for her phone. She found it in her bag and immediately tried to call her sister. Han Mei's phone was only ringing until it went to voicemail.
