75 Office Visit Again (1/2)
”Really you would do that for me?” Wang Jin asked before shrieking.
Han Jie held the phone away from her ear as she laughed amusedly at Wang Jin. When she thought the other woman finally calmed down, Han Jie spoke. ”Yeah, but if you continued yelling, like a lunatic, I will definitely change my mind.”
”Eh…” Wang Jin laughed, nervously, ”No. No… I won't yell anymore and I will make sure to not let you down.” She solemnly promised.
”OK then. I'll call Jonah to get me out of here. We'll meet up at his office?” Han Jie asked.
”Does Jonah have to come with us?” Wang Jin asked, curiously.
”Dad would kill me if I go out without a bodyguard.” Han Jie said smiling up at the ceiling. She could bet that her father was already aware that she visited the hotel clinic the day before and because of that, there was no way for she would test his patience.
”OK, see you at ten?” Wang Jin asked excitedly.
”Sure. Bye.” Han Jie said before dropping the cell phone back on the bedside table.
This was going to be fun. Han Jie dressed up and strolled into the living room after nine like she hadn't been incapacitated last night.
”Good morning,” Han Jie said brightly smiling at everyone in the living room.
Jonah grinned and Han Feng smiled at his daughter. Han Jun granted before returning back to his coffee.
”Oh! Why are you still here?” She asked Han Jun. Her gaze shifted to Jonah discretely. She was silently asking, 'Did you tell them about my sister?'
Jonah immediately understood her gaze and replied by shaking his head multiple times.
”I was also not feeling well.” Han Jun replied not even bothering to look at her.
”How are you feeling?” Han Feng asked Han Jie softly, which got her attention quickly.
”I'm better now.” Han Jie said, ”Thanks for the tray.” She said smiling at her father. Han Feng had sent over the food he used to make for her mother and sister whenever they were not feeling well.
”You are welcome.” Han Feng said turning back to his newspaper.
”I'm going to see Suzuki Kyou, father, to apologize to him.” Han Jie said sitting beside Han Feng.
”Why can't you just call?” Han Jun said frowning at Han Jie as if she was stupid.
Han Jie narrowed her eyes at her cousin, ”Your opinion is not needed.” She said glaring at him.
Their bickering was normal even in the Han residence. So, Han Feng hid behind his paper and allowed them to have their moment.
After a short period of time with no words exchanged Han Feng looked up. ”Jie'er you can go. But be careful.” He said a little worried.
Han Jie smiled brightly at Han Feng and hugged him. ”No problem, we're leaving now bye.” She said hurriedly as she pulled Jonah out of the penthouse suite.
Han Feng shook his head and went back to his papers.

”The Suzuki Kyou offices again please.” Han Jie said almost bouncing off her seat.
”Aye, aye miss,” Jonah said driving out of the parking lot.
It did not take long before the car arrived at the familiar parking space.
Jonah parked the car and looked around the parking lot of The Suzuki Offices suspiciously. He frowned as he was feeling that something didn't feel right, but could not point his fingers at it.
”One moment, Miss. Stay here.” He said before he got out of the car, hives all over his hands. 'Something is not right.' Jonah thought.
Then he noticed that Han Jie wanted to open the car door, he moved quickly, obstructing her from getting out of the car.
”Oy! What's the big idea?” Han Jie shouted from the car.
”Stay back miss, it's for your own safety,” Jonah said still looking around.
”I'm supposed to meet someone here.” Han Jie said looking confused.
”Who?” Jonah asked sharply still not allowing Han Jie out of the car.
Before Han Jie could answer, Jonah heard the 'click, click' sound of heels on the concrete floor before he saw the owner of the shoes.
Jonah braced. Wang Jin walked around the corner, a bright smile on her face.
”Hello, Jonah where's your mistress?” Wang Jin said making Jonah's name sound like an insult. Jonah frowned unhappily. He felt bad because just recently, he had a huge crush on Wang Jin.
”In here!” Han Jie said opening her door and forcing a reluctant Jonah out of the way.
”Beautiful day isn't it?” Wang Jin said happily completely ignoring Jonah's reluctance and glare.
”Isn't it always?” Han Jie said excitedly as she looped her arm through Wang Jin's. Then the woman, one tall and the other not walked towards the building.
Jonah hid his smirk while looking at the backs of the woman. His little boss looked like Wang Jin's child. She was also not wearing anything classy. She was just in a white shirt and tattered jeans. Han Jie was also only wearing open flat sandals that looked more like beach slippers.
They were murmuring with each other before Jonah heard Wang Jin laughed.
Wang Jin laughed gaily before sobering, ”Thank you again, for letting me come with.” She said softly knowing Jonah would overhear as he led them towards the elevator.
