His eyes flashed with bare emotions before he pulled distances between them. Her breath hitched as his face clouded with guilt.
All this time he had restrained in having a sexually based relation with her. He wanted to touch her very soul when she would be bare against him. She was no prude and the sexual tension between them was magnetic, if he wanted a physical relationship he would have had it by now.

”You don't want me?” Her hoarse quiet question was moderately shading all the turmoil her soul was harboring.
How would he not want her? She was the first and last woman he had wanted as much but he wanted her more than in his sheets and he wanted more than needs and desires harboring their shores.
Li Yuan stared at her and then cupped her face delicately, ”Cara Mia…I need you, more than I desire my next breath but, not in pieces, not a hollow piece of you when I am trading my very soul to you… It's all of you: your f*cked up soul, twisted mind, and unhinged heart or none of you. I can't.”
After the momentum of deafening silence as Lei Xinyi assessed the truth in his features and he assessed her feelings for him but it was a disappointment to see plain curious eyes staring back at him.
She was right in her assumption! Her diagnosis had never been wrong.
Her instincts were telling her there was something fishy with the situation. He hired so expensively one of the finest and peerless surgeons just for kicks and giggles and that too without a cause when he had a whole team of professionals waiting on his back and call? Shaddy!
But she had figured it out… It was because he didn't want anyone to know!
Lei Xinyi smiled softly and rolled her eyes then placed a hand on his chest in assurance, ”Listen, Li Yuan. You don't need to be embarrassed. In fact, nobody needs to be embarrassed about their body functions, it's totally normal to have an abnormality. Everybody faces crises, some sooner than others…”
What abnormality? What body function?
She gave him another sympathetic smile and cupped his face, ”Please, Li Yuan. I know how hard that must have been for you. But nothing will change how I feel about you even if you… I mean you stood by me in my bad time so I will stand by you too. After all, this is what friends are for…”
”Lei Xinyi!” He snapped at her, having lost his temper at her strange blabbering ”What is it?!”
Was she finally going nuts or was this another one of her figured out mystery?
She pressed her lips with a saddened smile and she sighed, nodding at him, ”I know about your… problem.”
He was about to open his mouth to ask 'what problem?' when she cut him off.
She moved her brows up and down in motion, disturbing him further. With a shake of her head, she patted his chest in support, ”I will do everything in my knowledge to help you. Initially, I was confused about why you hired me as your private doctor but now I know it was because you wanted it to be a secret…”
”What the f*ck are you talking about?!” He yelled in utter frustration.
Lei Xinyi gave him another sympatric smile because of his aggressiveness that was arising from frustration, sexual frustration: she would put her money on.
She opened her mouth to elaborate when she turned red instead and pointed at his lower region with her eyes. He too looked down frowning at what she was talking about, ”I know.” She whispered as she avoided eye contact.
