Shaking her head she spat like venom, ”She wasn't with child! She told me it was all lies fabricated by Li Yuan to maybe subdue his family or rush the wedding.”

Yu Wang tsked at the dense scorned woman before him, ”And do you think she will tell you if she was ever pregnant knowing what will happen to her child once the news reaches our dear Grandfather.”

Su Qing sneered at him in contempt, ”That vile sever swine is nothing to me! And I don't care, Okay! But I know she wasn't pregnant. She can't be…” Her voice got low to a murmur like she was trying to convince herself of the thought.

Yu Wang rolled his eyes in vexation, ”Here she goes drowning in her unconditional love! Don't let your infatuation cloud your judgment, Hot-shot!”

”For all we know… It had been a year since they had been together so... Maybe she was already months pregnant and went into hiding to give birth so no one knows of the child and she doesn't have to give it to the Patriarch.” He paused and deciphered her reaction to see if she bought his sh*t.

By the fogging of her eyes, he knew she did. He took a sip of the water he had brought for her to hide his growing grin.
