No, she wasn't the gothic type that was resilient in her views of materialism that ghosts or demons didn't sway her. In fact, they freaked the hell out of her but she liked the thoughts of watching horror with all the lights off, alone at home. It was scary but it was thrilling and intriguing.

Later when movies ended she was scared sh*tless of even her own shadow and going to the washroom was a fright. That's where all the most craziest slithery, two-faced, horned, red-skinned, pointed tailed demon happened to be!

The popcorns, ice cream, and snacks laid on the table untouched as she was hugging the life out of the cushion. All the lights were closed in the background, the LED being the only source of luminosity.

She was wearing a robe over her underwear with long socks. Her hairs were tucked in rollers. Her face was coated with an impurity reduction mask that she had made at home by grinding together avocado, honey, milk, oats flour, and gram flour.* She could compete with Medusa to a point where her snakes would straighten out of fright at Lu Xinyi's sight.

Over the years if she hadn't been any grateful to her step-mother for anything, she sure would be grateful that she was big on non-processed, harvested home remedies. And they worked like magic on skin!

Back on the screen, the girl was alone at her home on a weekend night watching a movie when her door was knocked on and her crush from school showed up...

The movie played was a background sound, Lu Xinyi wasn't able to focus on what was being said as all her mind was consumed about was the little pep talk Su Qing and Yin Lin gave her and the incident with He Zheng was another skeptical incident to add to today's list of peculiarity.

But although there was nothing weird, she felt like she was reading too much into it and there was really nothing about it. He Zheng probably was just joking.
