Her explanation rose several questions in his head. If the person was that influential he was bound to have known him and there was no telling how he was going to react to the news.

”Who is he, Lei Xinyi?”

A silence followed his question and Lei Xinyi smiled stripped and her eyes fell on her plate. Li Yuan knew the man and if he stormed off to the person's door, she didn't even want to imagine the atrocity. She shouldn't have let her tongue slip.

”You don't know him.” She busied herself in eating to look busy. Li Yuan dropped the subject too, there was more than one way to find the said person.

They continued their breakfast in silence; a thousand thoughts were swirling in her head. She was in serious cahoots, the f*cked up Lei Old man can't be trusted and he knew her whereabouts.

He was quite probably because he thought he could use her against the Li's but she needed to settle him for once and for all. By her accident he had gone overboard, he needed to be reigned…

”You never told me you speak Italian.” Lei Xinyi looked up at her thoughts being interrupted. He was staring at her. It was obvious. He wanted her to open her crest of secrets in front of him.

He was her savior and was beginning to feel more like a confidant and partner in crime. The proposition was simple he opens up for her so she opens up for him.

Sharing the burden of her life wasn't hard but she didn't know what he will do with the knowledge. No matter how harmlessly fluffy he felt against her skin, he was a clever, cunning, and feral wolf, a wolf that ruled.

She pursed her lips in thought gazing at her plate, she couldn't open her trap but she could share common knowledge like what he was talking about.

She looked up at him acting all cool about their tense conversation so she played along, ”I never told you anything about me.” She shrugged and pointed the palpable observation, ”Besides, what makes you say I speak Italian?”

”I know eight languages and it could have been any one of them but you pointed it out to be Italian.” Li Yuan had a mischievous glint in his eyes. How he could regulate his mood at this speed was beyond her.

He was talking about when he had whispered 'Una tale Bellezza' and she had understood but had feigned ignorance. So she didn't feign very well after all!

'See clever and cunning!' Even in the throes of passion when he was brick hard on her rear his mind running like a rocket.

Lei Xinyi let out a chuckle and took a sip of her juice, sharing such knowledge was harmless so she could, ”I speak five foreign languages, Spanish, Arabic, English because of the numerous countries having it as their national language; it made the legal association and blending in discrete.

I spent initial years in Japan so I know Japanese as my first language although I was taught Mandarin the same. I learned Italian as an optional choice because of the Italian Cartels correspondence that went on with the clan.”

She took another sip of her juice and saw Li Yuan impassive face giving nothing away but she could literally see wheels turning in his head.

She took another sip to hide her smirk. She had deliberately let the information of her living initial years in Japan slip and now he was going to probably go on a wild goose chase across the planet looking for a businessman who adopted a girl after buying her and kept her in Japan.

Good for her she was registered as her Masters' biological daughter her adopted family thought she was illegitimate and knowing her Masters' reputation everybody believed it.

With this, he was never going to find him and her secrets were safe. She sighed in relief and began eating again engrossed in her own thoughts.

Now that she has given her feral wolf a bone to nibble so he didn't disturb her again. Until later...
