222 Su Qianweis Obsession (1/2)

Li Yuan at once turned around to leave and commanded in a cold tone, ”Have a maid help tidy Ms 'Lei' Qianwei then escort her out.”

”Yes, Master!”

Su Qianwei who was wailing on the floor at once felt her heart was going to stop, that was on the brink of busting a while ago. Her cries seized as her heart froze hearing the animosity of the words.

'Lei Qianwei! He knew an..and it was the confession he was talking about! He knew that she was one of the Lei's...'

Everything else passed like a blur, She didn't care she was being manhandled. It didn't matter, the only hope she was living for was extinguished today.

She was dropped in her house and forced inside, she kneeled on the cold marble floor. and sobbed at her reality that was shoved in her face.

The reality was harsh but it was cold, hard and concrete like the floor she was kneeling on. How could she deny even a speck of her truth?

She never even stood a chance in front of Lei Xinyi! She wasn't even in the line! The shock on his face when he realized her confession was like a slap on her face, he never even saw her as a woman in the first place!

What was that she lacked? Was there nothing that he could like about her? Wasn't she better than every woman he dated in the past? Better than that Lei Xinyi? Everyone could see she was his perfect match except him!

Her breaths grew heavy and she sweated profusely yet she was shivering from cold.

Su Qianwei crawled to her only relief, she needed to forget, she needed to relieve herself of the ache. It would kill her! If he wasn't in it, her heart would die of hollowness, his absence.

She tossed all the drawers in the lower and upper compartments but...empty. They were all empty! Nothing it was all gone!

She remembered then, she had put all of the drugs in her bag before leaving for Lei Xinyi's supposed 'death' investigation and now all of that was in Yu Wang's house.

Su Qianwei breathing became ragged and she rushed out of the house in shaky stance. She took her car out of the driveway, she drove with no sense of direction or speed limit but by a chance, she reached her desired destination.

In was stark dark but she didn't care. She parked the car on the abandoned road, came out of the car and ran in the forest, it was drizzling now and would rain soon.

It was either she dies of desperation or of a wild animal's hunger but she couldn't live. She had no will left to live.

Why would she want to live a life where at the end she would be killed? If the Lei's didn't kill her Lei Xinyi would. She knew it in her heart that Lei Xinyi was waiting for the game to prolong and another heir to kill her so she didn't have to dirty her hands.

Su Qianwei knew her reasons, just like how she couldn't afford death, Lei Xinyi couldn't afford life.

Who could Su Qianwei even wake up to, her parents who had disowned her, her sister who thought she was the one who had destroyed her life or the heirs who want nothing except her head as a proof that she was out of the game?

The fact was she had no will left to live. Li Yaun was the only one that she looked up to but...now.

She ran aimlessly till she heard the roaring of a bike and finally went on her knees for the third time but this time in exhaustion. She saw the flashing of headlights before he stopped the bike just ahead of her.

She kept her eyes trained on the muddy ground.

Yu Wang stared at her for a while then looked at the drizzling sky and sighed. It was drizzling now but it was going o turn into a storm in minutes.

He got off the bike and draped his leather jacket around the woman wailing on the floor. Su Qianwei tear strained face jerked up to him.

He shouldn't have come, it was a mistake, he will regret later but since when he was the wisest? Yu Wang sighed at the sky.

One more on the pile of his blunders...

She held on to his arms for her dear life and stuttered, ”He doesn't lov...love me...”

Yu Wang picked her up and buried her face in his chest and murmured soothing melodies, ”I know, shh...go to sleep. It will disappear in the morning like it never happened.”

Su Qianwei murmured something in reply but she was too exhausted to even herself comprehend what she meant.

Yu Wang made her sit on the bike in front of him and rode carefully to the cottage. After drying her hairs, he checked her newly done piercing for infection or swelling and changing her wet clothes to his dry shirt without touching her barely-there lingerie.

He laid her on his bed and returned to the kitchen to make something for her.

He prepared all the ingredients and went upstairs to check up on her. She was sound asleep and wouldn't wake up till the next morning so dinner would be useless now.

It was stupidity, he shouldn't have gone to rescue her. but he couldn't help it, she was making lot's of noises and attracting wild animal. He couldn't help but go look for her when he saw her hysterically running in the CCTV.
