Ungrateful evil man! She had cooked for him almost every day since last months!

Next time she cooks for him, she will make sure he gets food poisoning!

She was really hungry. In anticipation to see her parents, she hadn't even done proper breakfast and it was past dinner but if she went out now and ate, that Yu Youhan will sneer at her in mock and maids will laugh at her behind her back.

She would be a laughing stock! No, no, no, She couldn't let that be! She huffed.

Even if she decided to call take-out, she had no money on her and all her cards were in the Lu Mansion. Lu Xinyi whined in frustration.

She sat up on the bed and huffed. She was still angry but her stomach doesn't know the matter of egos!

Next time when she is throwing a tantrum, she would do it by burning his closet with gasoline instead of a useless hunger strike! She bet that would be more effective!

She should go in his room, shake him awake and shout at him to try to convince her for eating! But then what about her ego?!

Lu Xinyi picked the pillow from behind her and stuffed her face in it and shouted in it. Stifling her cries of frustration. That was when her stomach growled in protest again.

She stood up pacing the room. She looked around the room for anything to eat when her eyes landed on the different kinds of flowers in the vase and she licked her lips.

Flowers are plants and aren't plants edible?

She went to the vase and took out a red rose from it. She opened her mouth to eat it when the door opened with the thud.

There stood Yu Yaouhan regal as ever. Lu Xinyi at once closed her mouth and hid the flower behind her back and closed her mouth but Yu YOuahn had seen her.

He looked at her in astonishment and disbelief, all his anger flushed, ”What were you doing?”

Lu Xinyi turned red in embarrassment. There goes all her attitude and self-respect!

But ignoring her situation Lu Xinyi shrugged her shoulder and brought the rose in front of her, ”Sni...sniffing. I was sniffing the flowers.” She patted the rose's delicate petal and gave an awkward smile avoiding eye-contact, ”Yeah. What else you can do with flowers? I was just sniffing.”

Yu Youhan looked at her going red in embarrassment and narrowed his eyes, ”By any chance, you were about to eat it?”

Lu Xinyi reddened further, her blush spread to her neck at being caught red-handed and she huffed in anger, ”Why would I? Youhan, don't get ahead of yourself! Why would I eat it, I am not Tarzan living in the jungle!”

Corner of Yu Youahn lip turned up in a smirk, ”Well, that's what I thought. Why would anybody but a Tarzan eat flowers from a vase? Right?”

Lu Xinyi gritted her teeth and barked, ”Right!”

He was taunting her, she wanted to smack that handsome smirk off his chiselled face! That's it! She is going to call an exorcist and descend this evil back to hell!
