She went into their room and trashed it too.

In the centre of the room with everything torn, broken or ripped, she sat on the floor ungracefully as a tear slid down her left cheek.

Her silky hairs were cascading her face and her nails were chipped and hands scratched by ripping things.

When her rage had subsided the agony had surfaced.

Why couldn't he understand that she hated being confined to walls? She told him she didn't like it one bit then why wouldn't he listen? It crept her and reminded her of things she really wanted to forget!

The door opened and closed softly. Lei Xinyi didn't react. A glass of water was handed to her, she didn't make the effort to accept it.

She didn't need water, she needed alcohol!

Housekeeper Xu sat on the floor and sighed, ”Miss, Young Master cares about you and the baby that is why he is protecting you. Otherwise, he wouldn't have cared or bothered with your security.” She said in a soft tone, passing her tissues.

Lei Xinyi scoffed and let out a bitter laugh, ”Care? That is no caring person that prevents you from living! And apart from that, wasn't I living just Okay before my wedding date was set? When I wasn't the one he 'cared' about.”

”Master must know something that you don't. He cares and doesn't want you to get harmed. You shouldn't stress a lot, it's not good for the baby.” She softly said and tried to slide her hair behind her ear.

Lei Xinyi flinched backwards and snarled, ”But his supposed 'caring' is making me live in agony!”

Housekeeper Xu sighed with a pained smile, ”Sometimes, people who care make you live in agony, to save you from getting...harmed in brutality.”

Here she was left to rot and the woman was spouting nonsense on nonsense!

”That isn't caring! That is selfishness! It is pure selfishness to put a curfew on me like that! I am nothing but a possession to him. A precious possession just like these things!” She looked with disgust at the broken things that cost millions.

She scoffed, ”For all I know, he must be having the time of his life with some wh*re!” Lei Xinyi mocked with contempt laced in her every word.

Something flickered in Housekeeper Xu eyes before she lovingly patted her hand, ”Ms. Lu, don't say that. You know that isn't true. Your carelessness had driven him out of here.”

She hesitated then gave an awkward smile, ”...You drank despite your pregnancy. That is all thanks to God that you and the baby are okay.”

”Get out!” Lei Xinyi turned her head sharply to her and glared.

She was many things but a moron wasn't on the list. A servant would always hum their Master's tunes and they were loyal dogs!

”But Ms... What?!” The housekeeper was shocked and incredulously stared at her.

Lei Xinyi snorted. The woman really had confidence in her acting skills!

”I said, get out! Do you think I don't know what you are doing? You are brainwashing me to be his perfect Lalaloopsy doll!” Lei Xinyi snickered in a taunting way.

Housekeeper Xu dropped her good-cop facade at once and glared at her, stood up and left the room.

He sure as hell bred some loyal dogs!

Lei Xinyi rolled her eyes at the irony. Half her life she had been conning people and this woman thought she could outsmart her!

She stood up and spit on the floor then turned to the bathroom.

As nothing was gained from the ruckus she caused. She may as well take a bubble bath while the maids would clean the mess she had made.

A smirk formed on her face dipped in pure glee. The sneaky snitch, Butler must be reporting her 'crimes' now.

If 'he' was going to be stressed then, he f*cking deserve it!
