156 Mocking Mornings (2/2)

”So you drove to a noman land after deceiving my radar and drowned in booze out of your skull?!” Li Yuan cut her off in a lethally calm voice.

”Yes! I mean NO! You are just putting it too harshly! You have me practically locked in here, like in a curfew! I feel suffocated! I am not a six-year-old! Even a six year old isn't prisoned in the place people call his house. I am being molded by the people around me!”

”It isn't the first time this is happening, so just tone it down!”

Deafening silence descended upon them. Lei Xinyi felt like she was slapped by him.

He just justified what the world had done to her as fair. He just unknowingly called her life her destiny.

By this, her being sold by her mother was fair, then being experimented on was fair, having to slaughter and rip people at the age of ten was fair, being r*ped was fair just because she couldn't fight the flow of river even when she was just a drop, a contaminated drop in murky water!

He didn't say it but he meant it. HIs subconscious ideology was based on it. To him despair, hunger, agony were destined, not forced on!

She took two steps backward. Her eyes reflected the hustling he had ruined in her, the hurricane he had altered in her. The spark, the struggle he had killed in her.

She swallowed her willowing turmoil and a bitter smile bloomed on her face and her eyes turned rock-hard like her heart, ”Right! It has happened to me once so it makes it right whenever it happens... Because I couldn't fight it once, it's illegal for me to object on it now.”

”Xinyi...” Li Yaun took a step forward to touch her but Lei Xinyi held her hand to stop her from reaching her. The detached look in her eyes stopped him in his tracks.

”Save it! I am tired. In fact, I am tired of this life! I just want to get away! I need space thi..this is suffocating me. You controlling my life. Everyone has a say in my life, EVERYONE, except me! Now I know why would Lu Xinyi really escape! Just...Just leave me alone!”

He didn't get what she was talking about escape but he understood the bitterness in her every syllable.

He wanted to reach her and take her woes away but she was molten glass now if he touch her now his blazing iron touch would shape her against her will and their would be nothing more infurating than this for her.

In the fit of rage they were better away from each other. Lava and fuel don't have compatiblity, when they are together they only make good explosions.

She took several steps away then ran in to the bathroom and shut the door behind her. With the locking noice that followed.

There was a conected door in the walk-in closet but she was better left alone right now.

Heck, he was better left alone right now. He ran a agitated hand through his hair and walked out of the room.

Here he though he would be the one who was going to be angry but apparently the girl had a way to turn the tables.

She neeed space and he needed a cigrette, utgently.

Their life threads were messed in clusters, whenever they were together, they would suffocate, trip and break them.
