His voice was soft as if he was cooing a lover but to Lei Xinyi's ear it was like venom!

Lei Xinyi narrowed her eyes at him, he always ridiculed her like this in useless banter for his amusement.

Li Yaun held out a strand of her hair that was hovering on her cheeks and slid it behind her ear brushing his fingers tenderly on her cheeks.

Lei Xinyi narrowed her eyes at him! The man must be playing at something or is bi-polar!

One moment he goes all Tarzan on her and the other he is caressing her like some devoted lover.

Pushing his chest a little which did nothing to feed the distance between them, she sneered.

”Why are you bothering?! Weren't you quite a cave-man the last time we 'talked'!”

Li Yuan gave her a barely amused smirk and put both his arms on the desk behind her making the already congested space between them even more compact.

Lei Xinyi understood what he was doing. He was trying to intimidate her.

Make her swoon over him.

But she wouldn't give the satisfaction to him by backing down.

”My men are looking in the matters, they haven't found anything against you yet...”

Lei Xinyi scoffed loudly and cut him off.

”Yeah! Well, that's what happens when you blame innocent people for things they didn't do!”

Lei Xinyi lied with grace with poise.

Li Yaun eyes narrowed at her as his left hand reached her slender back, slowly rubbing it.

Lei Xinyi was biting her tongue to not make any embarrassing sound with all the unholy thoughts going on in her mind and the position, she was in with the man who was the monument of perfection.

Li Yuan leaned closer to her ear and bit her earlobe then gently sucked it to ease the pain.

”We better hope that stays that way, or things are going to get ugly.”
