Lei Xinyi sat on the Breakfast Table while everybody in the Lu family was stealing glances at her. It was making her cringe with everything that was going on.

It's been almost a week since Li Yaun's lost control in the car.

Lei Xinyi didn't go to his office to have lunch or drove in his car. She ate in the lunchroom or her driver brought her take-outs from exquisite hotels and restaurants.

When the Lu's asked about the change she simply said they were giving each other space but even a blind could see the spilled milk all over the canvas of their lives.

Thank God that they did understand when someone didn't want to talk about things and nobody asked her about it again.

She would often see Lu Han and Lu Sheng giving her pleasing looks. They were content would be an understatement.

But whatever it was she wasn't going to be the first to cave in, her pride wouldn't allow it!

She may not be some super-rich b*tch but she had dignity. She wasn't going to roam around him like some sl*t when he had disrespected her like that!

When the fear and anxiety washed off the only emotion that lingered was rage. How dare he manhandled her?! How dare he said all those things to her?!

She didn't owe him sh*t it was his fiance fortune that she ran in time to be spared of the temperamental maniac.

She was growing frustrated and angrier by each passing day. He should have been apologizing to her or trying to convince her but instead the son of a b*tch was avoiding her like he didn't know she existed.

She was angry that she missed his small gestures of leaving pecks on her face, picking and dropping her off work, putting food on her plate.

To put a cherry on there were also rumors going on of Li Yaun and Su Qianwei in the office.

She knew for a fact they weren't totally baseless. She wasn't stupid. She knew there can only be dews when there is rain.

She excused herself from the table and walked to the door, where the driver was waiting for her.

”Lu Xinyi! Stop!”

Lei Xinyi heard someone calling her in a high pitched voice only to turn to see Madam Lu running toward her.

”I have somewhere to be, could you give me a ride?” Madam Lu asked her with her regal smile.

There was no place she could be in a hurry to be at this early hour of the day but Lei Xinyi didn't catch her but nodded and gave her space to move first in the car.

Once the car hit the road Madam Lu turned the partition on. They maintained silence and calm in the car, nobody spoke anything just looked at the passing scenery.
