104 A Natural Seductress (1/2)

Yu Youhan took a large gulp from the bottle of seventy-thousand dollar Glenfiddich. His act was primal like his spirit.

He thought about the young girl from the past Li Yuan was fretting about. She was a ghost of his past. She hunted him with a fever he felt like he would loose himself to despair.

It was years ago when Li Yaun and Yu Youhan were kidnapped by the Lei clan. They were 16 at that time and the petite girl was hardly 7 or 8. He would have to be a pedophile to be interested in her romantically.

But even then he wouldn't tell that to Li Yuan, explaining wasn't what he did.

They were in trapped in a basement with no food or water. Li Yuan put up one hell of a fight when being caught and sustained far more injuries than him and was passed out, in mild conscious he would groan in pain from time to time.

Escaping wasn't that hard but they couldn't get out of the tight ropes that bind thed.

They were held captives because they were the next heirs and the Lie clan wanted immunity and their exile to be lifted in the country in exchange of them.

Nobody visited them even to see if they were alive. Then one night a young girl about 8 years came wandering in the basement she was lost her expression told him, apparently the doors weren't locked as they had no chance of an escape. They were bind and beaten.

The girl name was 'Xinxin' or at least that's what she said she was called. She was wearing a royal blue sundress and looked out of place. The gruesome place didn't belong to her.

Li Yuan was still unconscious and needed medical as soon as possible. The girl was naive and innocent and it took Yu Youhan hardly a minute to persuade her to get him a knife.

She wasn't foolish she was purely kind hearten. She wasn't tricked by them; she pitied them.

He was good in combat, shooting and the element of surprise did the trick for him. He carried a barely conscious Li Yaun to the only door that was emitting sunlight.

Just when Yu Youhan thought they were free he saw the door was not the door to his freedom but to the deck. They were on a ship in the middle of the sea.

It was then did he see the brutality of the Lei's. The little girl 'Xinxin' whimpering and sobbing in the arms of a man who was holding a knife to her neck. She was their own so he assumed they wouldn't do anything to her.

He was dead wrong. As Yu Youhan shot their men one after the other the deck was filled with dead bodies of his captors except the man holding the little girl.

Somehow they discovered the girl was involved in their escape and Lei's don't give second chances, the girl learnt that the hard way.

The man looked at them with pure contempt and turned the girl around and stabbed her in her stomach. The look in the girl face will always hunt him. The pain, despair and shock she looked at him with.

The man swung her in the oceanic depths without even flinching.

The man took the momentary distraction and attacked Yu Youhan with the same knife. Getting out of the trance he retaliated and they had a fierce fight.

When the man dropped dead Yu Youhan looked in the ocean for any sign of the girl but far and wide there was nothing but endless water.

The ship was on autopilot as the Captain must be killed on the deck. He sent a message home and help arrived in two days. Till then he gave Li Yuan the necessary medical treament.

It wasn't love he felt for the girl but regret and guilt. She was beautiful and would have been about 23 years old but all of her life drained because of his one simple mistake and selfishness.

Out of everyone she was innocent among them but her innocence sunk with her that very day.

Lei Xinyi looked a lot like the little girl from years ago. He rescued her when he was destroying an old Lei Headquarter.

She was damaged and broken but she was no way innocent. You could sense her fiery nature miles away.

But after losing her memories she resembles the girl from his memories. He knows it deep down that the girl he owes to is dead but it is his way to make up for the loss and guilt.

He couldn't save one Lei girl so he will save the other as compensation. Maybe this way his guilt will die down.
