99 Someones Care (1/2)

The past days had been filled with tranquility for Lu Xinyi. She got the freedom to speak for herself. The maids were nomore ignoring her like a plague or not responding to her.

Although their gestures and tones were still harsh and cold she didn't mind them alot. Jiang Qinqin was so much doting and affectionate toward her to care about mere flies.

He would bring her sweets and fast foods and talk to her about too many things and tell her stories of childhood and how they foooled around.

Lu Xinyi felt her cheeks heated at the thought of him. He was sweet and funny and always spent time with her, playing video games and telling her stupid jokes.

He told her that she was brought to their house when she fourteen by his adopted father and as her parents were known and she was never registered as their sister because she wanted to keep her heritage alive.

Sometime she felt irritated that he only thought of her like a sister... She waited for his texts whole day and giggled while thinking of him.

She was standing in front of the vanity table doing a little makeup. Jiang Qinqin said he had a surprise for her today that he was sure she will love.

'THUD!!'

The room was bust open by a loud thuding as the door hit the wall. Lu Xinyi was startled and jumped in fright and snapped her head to the front door.

Only to see a woman with a jaw dropping beauty in her early twenties looking at her with widened eyes and beside her was a young man in his late teens with a hipster style looking at her with equally shocked expressoins.

”LEI XINYI!! You b*tch!”

Before Lu Xinyi could react or say anyting the gorgeous woman ran toward her and slapped her hard across the face and immediately hugged her after, suffocating the life out of her. Her actions left Lu Xinyi speechless.

After Lu Xinyi felt like she was going to faint she let her go. Lu Xinyi saw tear brimming in the woman's eyes. Lu Xinyi was dumbfounded.

She had slapped her and she was the one crying. Her cheek still sting, she was sure it would leave a bruise.

The young man came forward and hugged her too. He wasn't as monsterous as the woman and whispered, ”Xinyi, I am soo happy that you are alright.”

When he released her Lu Xinyi stepped away from both of them in fright and confusion.

”Wh...Who are you guys” Lu Xinyi asked anxiously in bewilderment.

The woman scoffed and seemed infurated by her words and ready to pounce on her when the young man held her back.
