86 Life Is So Unfair! (2/2)

”I am not allowed to drink.” Lei Xinyi said curtly.

Madam Lu waved her hands dismissingly and said haughtily, ”Well that didn't stop you from buying beers from local super Market or stealing expensive bottles from your father cellar. Did it?”

Hearing that Lei Xinyi face turned red and immediately she looked down the bed where she hid all the empty bottles of alcohol but found none.

She had no idea when they went missing. Turning with a sharp look at Madam Lu Lei Xinyi glared at her, ”Have you been spying on me?”

Madam Lu Rolled her eyes and scoffed, ”Don't overestimate yourself. Whenever you purchase anything by that credit card of yours I get a notification because your daddy dearest wanted to keep an eye on you and that cellar is in my house. Do you think I wouldn't notice the bottles costing millions that go missing?”

Letting out a huff Lei Xinyi snarled, ”So have you or have you not tattled me to Dad yet?”

Dad. Although the word sounded foreign to her lips but she couldn't afford getting more busted than she already was. Who knows where Madam Lu was getting to…

Madam Lu snorted, ”I didn't. You are a twenty three year old you can have freedom for yourself but I have come to realize that you aren't that naïve and innocent as you lead people on. Even I thought you were a good for nothing waste of space.”

Lei Xinyi had a strong urge to roll her eyes and snicker on the woman at the insult.

Looking at her suspiciously Lei Xinyi asked the question hammering her head, ”Why are you here?”

Shrugging her shoulder Madam Lu poured two glasses of wine and extended one to her, ”I came to have a little chitchat with you.”

It was afternoon. Lei Xinyi eyed the glass then held it. Afternoon or not what alcoholic would refuse good wine.

Chugging down the whole glass of wine, Lei Xinyi asked, ”About?”

Madam Lu too drank the strong and heavy wine glass in one go and said, ”The Li boy. Of course.”

Savoring the wine glass, Lei Xinyi felt her eyelids grow heavy and mumbled nonchalantly, ”What of him?”

Madam Lu chugged another glass down and asked in the most stern voice she could muster in her drunken state, ”Don't play dumb with me. Young woman, you know what I am talking about. Why are you avoiding him?”

Pouring herself a third glass, Lei Xinyi groaned in frustration, ”None of your business! Why are you so nosy?”

”Watch your tongue young woman. It is hardly a matter of time before your father is going to permit that boy again to come see you.” Inching closer to her she gasped, ”Are you avoiding him because you have fallen for him.”

Lei Xinyi immediately shot her head up abruptly and shouted, ”No! Hell F*cking No!”

Pointing at her with a drunken smile Madam Lu giggled and said, ”In denial…..hmmm, I see young love.”

Holding her head Lei Xinyi shouted while swaying her head, ”No, no, no! nope…not him.”

Then giggled and held a finger on her chin and made a thinking gesture, ”He is smart and hot, check. He is rich and hot, check. He is hot and hot, check....Hmmm, I like him a lot. I want him on my bed! Argghh… Why is he not an escort? Why? Why? Life is so unfair!”
