Bringing both the packets she kept it in front of CEO Li and said, ”Sir, these surgical gloves were found in Miss Lu's bag and the powder like substance was found on Miss Lu desk.”
As everyone saw the material they passed Lei Xinyi shocked and intensified disgusted looks.
The powder like substance must be the drug while the gloves must be used for putting the drug in the coffee without getting the drug on her own hands.
Lei Xinyi had the urge to smack her head on the wall, she carried these surgical gloves with her on pure habit as a surgeon but there was no way she could explain that to anybody here.
Li Yuan eyed the plastic bag with gloves and the powder like substance and looked at her with a raised questioning brow.
Yun Qianqian scoffed and said with an eye roll, ”So everyone can see who is guilty here. I think Lu Xinyi you should start kowtowing now, you have to write a resignation letter too, after all we don't really have all day to look at your face.”
Like before everyone didn't even spare her a glance as Lei Xinyi and Li Yuan maintained eye contact.
Finally Lei Xinyi shook her head with an amused smirk and said through mirth, then looked at Fan Binbing and asked, ”Did you look in the bins too?”
Fan Binbing looked at CEO Li, if she was allowed to answer or not, as CEO Li was waiting for her answer too, she replied, ”Yes, I did.”
”So Miss Fan Bingbing were there any other gloves, handkerchief or tissue found with the powder smell on them.” Lei Xinyi asked.
Fan Bingbing shook her head and replied, ”The security checked, there weren't any.”
Looking at Lei Xinyi calmly investigating, Yun Qianqian could tell she was getting somewhere so she immediately shouted with desperation, ”Why even she is getting this leverage to question when clearly this drug that is revealed from her possession proves that she is the one guilty here.”
Then turning to Lei XInyi she spat, ”You are not only a woman with a loose character but you even tried to drug CEO Li in broad day light in front all his staff. Do you even think you deserve breathing the same air as us?! You shoul…..”
Before Yun Qianqian could continue further Assistant Ji interrupted her, ”Ms. Yun even a person charged with murder edict gets a trial in the court and Ms. Lu crime is not that severe. Don't you think she deserve a chance to defend herself.”
Yun Qianqian knew well what was going on. Assistant Ji never does anything without the direct order from CEO Li, with each passing second she was getting anxious. Lu Xinyi was looking as calm as she was out for a morning stroll and this terrified her.
Why was she so calm and why was she smiling meaningfully as if she knew something others didn't.
