Lei Xinyi entered the office building and she was literally expecting a crowd to be waiting upon her, people shouting and calling her names but….the normal behavior of everyone made her feel abnormal.

Lei Xinyi knitted her brows and moved to the elevator.

She was sure Zhang Xiaoming would have given the camera to Jiang Qinqin but it was quite a surprise that she hasn't created a commotion for her by now.

Something was definitely not right. She could feel her guts telling her to go back to the comfort of the bed but being stubborn she entered the secretariat.

The day was suspiciously quiet today with no commotion. Lei Xinyi glanced at Jiang Qinqin who was doing her work devotedly without giving her glares and silent curses. This was totally unlike her.

Lei Xinyi glanced at Chen Shu who was awfully more quiet then usual and was doing her work quietly without even glancing at anybody.

Today was the Year's Meeting that would be held in the Third Conference Room, where all the Head of Departments will be reporting.

Shouldn't it be the best time for Jiang Qinqin to make a commotion? Why was she so meek today? Was it something like her conscience that kicked in?

All through the secretariat the only sound that was present was the soft typing sound of the employees, as today was going to be the Year's Meeting.

Every employee here was exceptionally talented and one of the best in their field, even though Jiang Qinqin and Chen Shu lacked in morals they had remarkable work ethics and communicating skills. Then again no wonder they were hired in the Li Corporation.

Lei Xinyi had finished arranging all the statistic data that was assigned to her a while ago and now she was getting all the creepy feelings from the evil duo sitting behind their cubicle.

As she was new in the office today all she had to do was observe the Meeting and double check the details.

Today Jiang Qinqin was going to do a presentation on the Stock Markets rise of the Li Corporation's shares and their influences and Lei Xinyi had to second her.

Lei Xinyi could feel her gut performing Summer Sault about how there was something wrong going to happen.

She hasn't seen Li Yuan after yesterday and after their dinner stunt they didn't even talk. It didn't take a genius to know that Li Yaun was using her for a distraction for something she didn't give a f*ck about…

He could do anything unless it doesn't hinder her escape plan after all she knew better than to let her heart indulge in someone she just couldn't afford….

'THUD'

A loud voice of slapping something against the table surface got her attention.

”The presentation is ready and I have double checked it to confirm. Be there in Five minutes.” She heard Jiang Qinqin say and leave a USB on her desk.

Lie Xinyi was supposed to make this presentation with Jiang Qinqin's corporation but as Jiang Qinqin said she collected the data on the last minutes so she made it herself.

As she was about to check it, she heard the receiver on her desk ringing.

Picking it up, she heard a busy voice of Li Yuan from the receiver, ”Bring me a cup of coffee in the meeting room.”
