54 Over Exaggerated (2/2)
As Lei Xinyi was sipping her ordered drink a man came and sat on the seat next to her. He ordered himself an expensive alcoholic drink.
”So are you here with someone?” Lei Xinyi heard the man next to her ask.
Turning her head in his direction, Lei Xinyi noticed the man had a good physique and was dressed in an expensive suit. She hasn't seen him before but he looked like he belonged to a rich family.
Lei Xinyi shyly slid her hair behind her ear and said in a bashful voice, ”Yes, I planned to come with my friend but she got trapped in something in the last minute.”
”Hmm… I am alone here too. Would you mind if I buy you a drink?” The man beside her passed her a smile and offered.
”No, thanks I don't drink alcohol.” looking at the floor Lei Xinyi hesitantly said, ”Excuse me, I need to go to the restroom.”
Lei Xinyi noticed he didn't share a name neither asked her for a name but simply asked if she was alone, thinking that Lei Xinyi smirked. The man was simply too new in this game.
She had noticed the man before he came to her and knew her targets have noticed her and sent him.
Walking by Lei Xinyi saw movement from the corner of her eyes. So let the game begins…
Lei Xinyi went in the restroom and entered a toilet's booth and sat on the closed toilet commode and took out filer from her bag and leisurely started filing her nails.
In less than a minute, Lei Xinyi heard the surprised voice of Chen Shu, ”Really?! Sister Jiang does CEO Li really like you?!”
”Yes, haven't you seen the CEO had always been affectionate and lenient with me?” Lei Xinyi rolled her eyes and continued filing her nails as she heard Jiang Qinqin's shy voice.
That brooding and cunning heartless man wouldn't be lenient or affectionate even with his own junk. What the girl was saying was really over exaggerated.
Even the thought of him being affectionate with someone without a motive made Lei Xinyi gag, it was that fake.
”But isn't there a new CEO's lover. CEO even confessed in front of the entire secretariat and even demoted us.” Chen Shu said.
”She is just a number on his lists, such women come and go in his life. He will not even remember her after a couple of day. Just like the others.” Lei Xinyi smirked at Hearing Jiang Qinqin's voice.
Lei Xinyi saw them sending that man to know if she came with a company because in that case there is always a chance of being trapped by the witness.
She even knew they saw her going inside and they were provoking the supposed naïve Lu Xinyi but they were really overdoing it.
”You are right Sister Jiang. Of course our CEO Li will favor someone talented and beautiful like you not a whore like her, who even came in the company by the backdoor using her body.” Lei Xinyi inaudibly scoffed as she heard Chen Shu spat in a voice filled with distaste.
Lei Xinyi smirked while examining her nails by giving it a onceover look. Praising her artwork Lei Xinyi put the filer back in her bag and decide it was time for her entry.
