Bowing she turned on her heels as if hellhounds were chasing her, as she got away from their sight of view she changed her path and headed to an empty corridor.

Leaning against the wall she giggled to herself at her accomplishment, holding a hand to her chest.

That was damn close! She always knew she was lucky and a shitless clever!

Heaving a sigh of relief and walked to the passage that will lead her to the private room and then the exit.

Unknown to Lei Xinyi her little display of 'shitless cleverness' was seen.

In the upmost floor of the bar, a man sat in front of his laptop screen following Lei Xinyi through the CCTV's.

Looking at the change in her behavior when she was out of public sight, he smirked.' The girl was definitely interesting' he thought.

”Fiancé I love so much…” he laughed through pure mirth, he had always known he was charming enough to claim a girl by pointing and they would gladly die with a gesture but this woman here was ridiculing his name.

”Assistant Ji, How much truth do you think is in it, hmm?” He asked the man standing with bowed hands in front of him while still looking at the girl fleeing.

His Master has never as much as taken interest in knowing if she was alive. Their marriage was platonic to the point that their dates were too arranged by their elders.

As His Master had studied abroad and this Miss Lu studied in All-Girls School. So they never as much as has seen each other more than countable times in gatherings.

And as that girl had a 'reputation' to be a pushover and an emotional fool that stays in her shell in the society so it never came as a surprise to both families that their boat didn't have sails.

But people eventually think things would settle because they want to believe things will settle even when in fact bride and groom were, both polar apart.
