Looking at the grey, golden and white walls and the so-called classy furniture Lu Xinyi was bored out of her mind of the sophisticated environment.

She had been in this hell hole for a whole week. Laying upside-down with her legs on the headboard of the bed, she was going through the phone of the real Lu Xinyi.

Damn! she was such a boring creature! She had social media accounts that were almost all private with her family member only. Even then she didn't post too much of her pictures.

She was the only daughter of the Lu family which was one of 10 most influential and wealthiest families of the country, but she had never been exposed to the public because of security issues.

No wonder she didn't know she had a doppelganger; She was just so well hidden. There whole house had tight security around every corner. She would have to be too careful not to be caught.

She checked news on Su Qing and saw that she was called in a reality show yesterday, which means she was safe. And if she was safe it means He Zheng would be safe too.

They were the only people she cared and probably will be the only people she will miss when she will be gone. They were like siblings she never had.

For the last week she hadn't seen anyone in the house because her supposed family wasn't home. Master Lu, her 'father' was on official work.

Lu Han was on a trip with his friends while Lu Sheng didn't live in the Lu family Mansion but in his own penthouse, he only came here on special occasions and her 'step-mother' outright ignored her.

Today Master Lu was returning from his official trip and everyone was supposed to be on the table because they were going to witness Lu Xinyi 'marriage edict' that was going to be passed.

Hearing a knock on the door, she went to the Breakfast table as instructed. Everyone except Lu Jiong was present on the table, apparently Lu Han returned early from his trip. Today she was seated beside Lu Sheng, as Lu Han was beside his mother.

As Lu Jiong entered the room and sat on the head of the table, the room became filled with a heavy atmosphere.

Nobody touched the food. Everyone was eager to know what was going to be said except Lei Xinyi.
