”The only thing you can trust is your reason, because there are too many beyond common sense in the void. Many wizards will drive themselves crazy when they see things they can't understand, or completely fall into the trap of desire and become a living dead man. These things are not an example.”

”I don't quite understand.” Lauren frowned. ”If it's just subconscious, how can I fall into desire?”

”Just because everything is illusory, the stimulation it brings is beyond your imagination. It is like a dream, but it is more terrible than a dream. ”If it's a dream, there must be some way to wake up,” Loren said tentatively. ”Or some opportunity to find that you're dreaming.”

Maybe that's what Isaac really meant? Entering the void not through meditation, but through dreams is actually the embodiment of his subconscious desire - just as Isaac always yearns for new knowledge, so the dream he enters is the library, and opening the door of the library is to get rid of his inner desire.

Compared with Isaac's usual behavior, it was definitely not as easy for him to say.
