Chapter 54 Audition For Play (Part Two) (1/2)
Carla sat down on the sofa next to her. ”I've been here for a long time, but I haven't met any acquaintances, so I come over to talk with you.”
The girl answered in a casual and unrestrained manner. Ashley put away the brief biography. ”Did you come along without assistant or agent?”
”I haven't started my career yet. My company didn't arrange an assistant for me. My agent has gone to take part in an activity with an artist of the same industry. So I came by myself.” As she spoke, Carla fidgeted with her hair. ”This is the first time I've seen some one come to
audition in a wheelchair. How's your wounds?”
”It's just a knife wound. I'll recover after ten days and a half month.”
Looking at the wound on her arm, Carla shook her head and said, ”I think you should pay more attention to your appearance. Being a pretty woman is a virtue for you. If you get scars on your face, you can't even wear a dress.”
Ashley nodded her head and asked, ”who are you auditioning for?”
”Eda, how about you?”
Like the heroine, Alice Lu was also a psychiatrist. They were competitors.
”I'm auditioning for Penny.” She answered.
