Chapter 81: Can I yell? (1/2)

You Liangxing made a thorough mental preparation; even if Kang Shengzhe were to give him an awkward stare, he would not change his expression at all. However, when he pushed open the door to walk in, he noticed that there were only two people in the entire dorm.

The member behind him asked: “How many people are sharing this dormitory?”

One of the freshmen in the dormitory replied: “Three of us have arrived. Both of us have been arranging our beds but the last one ran off before he even did anything, and we don’t know where he went.”

Kang Shengzhe had already reported in and it seemed like the person who had ran off to who knew where was him as well.

The fact that he came was by chance, but Kang Shengzhe just had to be absent…

There were no changes to You Liangxing’s visage, but there was an unconscious surge of disappointment within him, and it swept away the concern and nervousness he had harboured for the past few seconds, causing them to disappear, which made everything around him seem rather bland.

Although not everyone was present in the dorm, it did not hinder the student union’s work. Remembering Liao Su’s instructions, the members thoughtfully stood up to deliver a welcoming speech to the new students and started communicating with them enthusiastically. You Liangxing made a gesture at the student union members to signal that he was going out, and he left the room first.

Just as he was exiting, he bumped into Liao Su who was coming out of 506 as well. Curious, Liao Su asked, “What are you doing? Going to the restroom?”

You Liangxing nodded in spite of the fact that he had no location in mind. He just wanted to take a walk around because he was feeling uncomfortable.

Head circulating and brimming with thoughts of how Kang Shengzhe was not around, You Liangxing had only taken a few steps out when Kang Shengzhe’s face appeared right before his eyes, a seemingly despicable grin plastered on his face.

Inexplicably, You Liangxing felt angry when he saw that face and he wanted it to punch it more and more. Before the idea could last for an extended period of time in his head, the mouth on that despicable face moved and it said to him: “Liang Liang~ Come over here, quickly.”

That expression was real, his figure distinct, and his voice even rang out in their surroundings. You Liangxing froze at where he stood, and he came to realise that it was not his imagination. That big head protruding out of the distant water room was in fact Kang Shengzhe himself!

You Liangxing was surprised, “How are you…”

The latter half of his words trailed off into silence and You Liangxing walked over very quickly. Kang Shengzhe grabbed one of his arms and pulled him into the water room and pressed You Liangxing against the wall forcefully.

His action placed both the 2.03 metre and 1.85 metre tall boys in an unspeakably odd position, and by sheer luck, there was no one around to catch them in the act, not even when You Liangxing had narrowed his eyes as he was buckled against the wall.

There was no one around to spectate.

“Kang Shengzhe…”

The soft and charming voice was suppressing fire, but Kang Shengzhe ignored the heat that it was emitting. Smiling with crinkled eyes, he said: “Here.”

At this distance, Kang Shengzhe’s face was well within reach. When You Liangxing raised his head slightly, he could see his straight nose and thin eyelashes. Quietening down his heat, he said coldly in askance, “What are you doing here?”

Bluntly, Kang Shengzhe said, “I’m blocking you, what else? I wanted to see you.”

You Liangxing sneered through the gap between his teeth and thought: You’re blocking a ghost. The one who had been hiding his head and tail for so long was obviously him, and yet, he had the audacity to say he wanted to see him? When he remembered that, the vexation that had been lodged in his chest for more than month reared its head, and he glared fiercely at Kang Shengzhe.

Kang Shengzhe shrank his neck back but his ecstatic smile was still present on his face. He said, “Are you angry? Don’t be like that, I did all this for the sake of our beautiful reunion. I’m being serious, I made a lot of preparations for today, Liang Liang~ Liang Liang?”

With such an attitude, he felt like he was punching cotton. You Liangxing was not good with his words and he did not know what to say in the moment. Whereas Kang Shengzhe was quick to react; with a smile pervasive, he said: “Look at this.”

As he said that, he looked down, making You Liangxing look down unconsciously as well. Kang Shengzhe assumed the posture of undoing his belt, and giggled, “Come, come, come, I’ll show you a big treasure.”

The undoing of his belt was akin to an act from a hooligan and the shorter man almost made a noise that could raise goose bumps. You Liangxing’s eyelid twitched and his punch shot out, but Kang Shengzhe had predicted his action in advance. He held onto You Liangxing’s arm but the latter man was far stronger than him, and there was no difference between holding and not holding because the punch still landed on his stomach.

“My.. moth…er…” Kang Shengzhe bent over in pain, groaning twice before he finally said: “I was just joking.” After he uttered those words, he stood up like nothing had happened and put on a loveable personality.

For full disclosure, the punch that You Liangxing gave him was without any mercy, and had Liao Su been at the receiving end of it, he would have yelled out, “You are my father”. However, when the punch was directed at Kang Shengzhe’s person, he only bent over for a few seconds before he recovered.

You Liangxing felt like the summer fitness workout was indeed useful; for it seemed to have heightened his potential to endure abuse as compared to before.

“I’ll stop messing around, I really won’t make trouble anymore. Look at this, just one look.”

With what appeared to be seriousness and a tinge of pride on his face, Kang Shengzhe used his hand to pull up the hem of his shirt, as if he was raising the curtains to present a treasure.

Initially, You Liangxing had no intention to look at it but he could not resist Kang Shengzhe’s pestering which was similar to that of a fly’s buzzing and his eyes swept across it briefly. However, what was meant to be a mere glimpse became affixed to Kang Shengzhe’s body.

What Kang Shengzhe wanted You Liangxing to view was the white belly he had been hiding for more than a month. After not seeing it for one month, the originally soft meat had become extremely firm with smooth lines skirting around it; not only were the abdominal muscles obvious and pretty, his mermaid lines were more than capable of attracting eyes.

In an instant, You Liangxing’s chaotic state of mind was superseded by astonishment. Blankly, he said, “Impossible…”

It had only been a month, how was this possible?

You Liangxing stretched his hand out, wanting to touch it, but Kang Shengzhe immediately pulled his shirt down and he put on a coy appearance. “Don’t do that, how dare you try and take liberties with me?”

What does he even mean by taking liberties, You Liangxing said, “Lift it up.”

Kang Shengzhe: “Don’t wanna.”

“Hurry up and lift it up.”

“Yamete.”

Naturally, You Liangxing did not have any other intentions. It was just that he was overly surprised, and if he did not touch it, he would not dare to believe it was real. He had only worked out for more than a month, and to have such obvious results was honestly unbelievable. Despite asking to touch it, he did not harbour any suspicions, but as Kang Shengzhe became increasingly anxious with each insistent refusal, You Liangxing could not help but become more curious.
