Chapter 6: If you have the ability, play Zhong Kui. (1/2)
Liang Chuhan paused before she hastily responded with a noise. As she was looking at the game interface, she was no longer as calm as she was before. She was actually in a duo with You Liangxing in game…
Unthinkable.
Liang Chuhan coughed slightly and she didn’t know what she should say. Although she knew that she would not gain anything out of the game, she was hoping she could leave a favourable impression on You Liangxing. As she opened her mouth to find a topic, the list of heroes appeared on the left side.
You Liangxing: — Pick the hero you want to play.
—As per usual, he chose to type. Liang Chuhan scrolled through the list of heroes before settling on the auxiliary Ming Shiyin. She subconsciously thought, it would be good if You Liangxing chose a marksman and laned with her, since she would have more opportunities to speak to You Liangxing.
However, You Liangxing did not choose a marksman.
As he was looking through his scarce options of heroes, he hesitated for a moment before he picked the blue mage hero – Zhong Kui.
While he hadn’t played him before, he wanted to try it out.
After You Liangxing confirmed his pick, a rustling sound suddenly transmitted into his ear. On the avatar of the player on the right of him, a microphone sign appeared under it. A second later, a young voice suddenly spoke.
“Oya~ someone picked Zhong Kui.”
That voice sounded extremely close. Since You Liangxing had the team’s voice channel open, he knew that the person on the third floor was speaking. While he did not care for the teammates he was matchmade with most of the time, this person’s voice was too special. Once it landed in his ears, You Liangxing felt his entire body go numb and his brows subconsciously twisted together.
Very familiar… where did he hear it before?
The male continued to speak as if he was talking to someone else. “Hahahaha, a bronze Zhong Kui, I don’t know how well they will play. What? Me, laughing at others, do I look like that sort of person? En, all of you are right, I really am.”
Even though Liang Chuhan was speaking in the duo voice channel, what she was listening in on was the all chat, and she wondered: “Game anchor?”
You Liangxing: — No need to care about him.
“Okay.” Liang Chuhan wasn’t too concerned about him either. Compared to game anchors, You Liangxing was better at occupying her thoughts.
“What should I play,” the male anchor was minding his own business and continuing with his work. The intonation he used as he spoke was a little strange; the end of his sentences were unconsciously elongated, and coupled with his perfect su-like voice, it felt somewhat ridiculous.
“I’ll play jungle. Since it is the last match of the day, I will lay bare to everyone my bird. Don’t be excessive, whoever called me a perverted anchor, my bird and I will definitely not let you go.”
Just as the words landed, the third floor (or player) chose the hero Naoko Lulu, a girl character with an eagle.
While playing the game, the male anchor’s su-like voice constantly ringing in his ears was no better than Liao Su’s chatter. It had his thoughts in turmoil, and You Liangxing frowned. At the present moment, he was not the only person who was upset. In the bathroom on the first floor of the dormitory building, Liao Su was holding onto his tablet and mourning silently.
What the hell was this!
Why! Why was it that just as he was kicked out, You Liangxing was queued up with his idol KK!
He also wanted to play games with KK!
When he left the dormitory, it wasn’t ten o’ clock yet. Since he was idle, he had wondered if KK was still live broadcasting and he immediately took the time to enter his live broadcasting room. As soon as he entered, the discussion was already very lively.
【I knew there would be such a day.】
【Trash KK, I don’t believe that your main account is really banned!】
【Confess, how many games have you played behind our backs again!】
【Obviously, you just wanted to go to bronze and abuse the weaker players!】
After scanning the comments that flashed by quickly, Liao Su realised that today’s broadcast was slightly different. The account that KK was using was not the one he usually used for live broadcasting. Rather, it was a newly opened bronze account.
“Just one round, I am bringing all of you around to appreciate the graceful bearing of bronze players.”
KK’s voice was smooth and pleasant as ever, without a hint of remorse or unease from being temporarily suspended because he had been playing for too long. When he opened his mouth, his entire audience drank it up.
【Fine fine fine! You’re right.】
【I will tolerate it this time! If you don’t get twenty kills I will object!】
