”Nicole, where have you been? Your phone is off every time I call you.” Avery sounded wronged.

A faint smile appeared on Nicole's face. Thinking of what she had done, she felt a bit guilty. ”What's wrong? Why are you so nervous? You are going to be a bride, aren't you?”

She really hoped that Avery could be happy. She knew that Zachary could make Avery happy, so she took the risk.

On the other side of the phone, Avery was silent.
