Chapter 954 (1/2)

Dong Dong! Dong Dong!

”Who?” the knock on the door for a long time, a lazy voice slowly sounded, and the innkeeper rubbed his bleary eyes and came out of the room.

”Boss, open the door! Check in!” a hoarse voice sounded outside the door.

”Ouch, it's almost dawn...” the boss turned his head and looked at the wall clock. The watch needle has passed 5 a.m.

The guy outside the door became more and more impatient: ”open the door quickly! You won't lose your money!”

”Well, don't be so angry.” no one will refuse to make money, not to mention the small hotels in the northern suburbs of Hong Kong. The boss hurried over and opened the rolling shutter door to welcome the guests in.

It was still dark outside, and it was in a remote suburb.

When the rolling shutter door was half opened, the boss asked, ”can you get through the cat's waist? I'm not going to open the door before dawn.”

”HMM.” the people outside answered with a deep voice, and then a figure leaned down and came in from under the rolling shutter door.

The boss looked at the man in front of him and couldn't help but be a little stunned. Judging from his figure and posture, there was a young man standing in front of him, but now the latter was tightly wrapped in a thick blanket and wrapped his whole head.

”What are you doing with your blanket this summer?” the innkeeper couldn't help wondering, ”is it hot to cover so tightly? Can you see the road clearly?”

”Less nonsense, open a room for me.” the man scolded angrily.

”This...” the boss smiled, ”brother, you'd better change one.”

”What do you mean?”

The boss stepped back and waved his hand: ”you look like this, I really dare not let you live here.”

”My skin is not very good and I can't see light.”

”Isn't it an infectious disease?” the boss was surprised and waved his hand again and again. ”That's even worse. If you infect other tenants, I'll be responsible. Forget it, you'd better go.”

”It won't infect, but it can't see light.”

”Don't say anything. Please leave.” the boss stretched out his hand and pointed to the door. ”It's not easy for me to do business. Be considerate.”

As soon as the voice fell, a thick pile of money had been handed to the hotel owner: ”we'd better understand each other.”

”This...” the innkeeper stared at the stack of banknotes, hesitated for a moment, and took it with a smile. ”It's not easy to go out. It's easy to say. Take out your ID card and I'll register.”

”No ID card.”

The hotel owner looked bitter: ”brother, aren't you kidding me? You don't even have an ID card and don't even let me see your face. If you catch up with the police station to check, you'll be fined.”

”You find a way,” the man said, and another pile of money was handed to the innkeeper.

”Well, money can make ghosts grind.” after all, no one can't get by with money. The hotel owner sighed and shrugged his shoulders. ”In this way, if the police station comes to check, I'll say you're my nephew, okay? Don't slip the tongue. I have to continue my business in the future.”

”I see.”

”Well, let me see. Room 1 on the third floor is the innermost part of the corridor, and there are no tenants on the third floor.”

”Very good.” the man seemed to breathe a long sigh of relief.

The boss went around behind the counter, checked the record book with a ballpoint pen, turned it in the drawer and handed over a key: ”here, here's your key. You can go upstairs and have a rest.”

”Thank you.” the man thanked unexpectedly, paused slightly and said again, ”prepare me something to eat, help me bring it upstairs, and double the price for you.”

The innkeeper wrung his eyebrows and said, ”Oh, this time, only the leftovers from last night are left.”

”OK, help me upstairs.” the man said. With the creak of the wooden stairs, he shook and disappeared into the shadow of the corner of the stairs.
