Leafsoul appeared in front of the recruited soldiers.

This was as dire as it could get. Though a wise man should avoid fighting an undefeatable battle, Leafsoul could not stand by and let the broodmother into the planet. Omnesflores would be destroyed the moment the Insectoids touched down. They had to be stalled at all costs.

The battleship at the outer rim was already executing suicidal attacks under the marshal’s command. From afar, the soldiers on the ground could see sparks explode across the fungal sheath from time to time. Each spark marked the noble sacrifice of a battleship and its crew.

“Everyone, reinforcement is coming from the Human Alliance. But we shouldn’t sit still and wait for someone else to save us. This is our land and we should give it our all to protect it! Stop the Insectoids at all costs!”

“Roger!”

“To battle!”

Most of them responded enthusiastically.

The few who did not were, no doubt, tourists.

Unlike his men, they would not be budged easily by his motivational speech. There was a simpler way to earn their service.

“The one who kills the most can select an S-tier god weapon from Omnesflores’s vault.”

This time, even the outsiders were drawn by the offer.

Money always spoke the loudest.

Qin Feng was not so different from the others. Of course, he still had other purposes in mind. But any extra reward was welcomed and would only make him fight slightly harder.

“Board the aircraft!”

The soldiers boarded a large airship as ordered. It was three times the size of the hovercraft designed by Qin Feng. But its speed, defense, and stability were definitely beyond by threefolds.

There were about two hundred S-tiers on board. Although there should be four hundred S-tiers native to this planet, half of them must be having other duties on the planet. Discounting those that might have fallen at the frontline, the number of S-tiers on board was considered ample.

Other than the S-tiers, there were also three thousand A-tiers listed in the troop.

Even though A-tiers were capable combatants, their fate was probably going to be cannon fodders in a war of such scale. That was exactly what Leafsoul needed.

Bai Li was naturally considered as one of those A-tier expendables.

She did not care and stood close to Qin Feng. The aircraft hardly vibrated when they felt the propulsion. The aircraft took off and rocketed toward outer space.

The glare created by air friction lit the sky shrouded by a sea of red.

In less than five minutes, the aircraft had entered outer space. A planet largely covered in green appeared below them. That was the Omneflores.

Then, Qin Feng glanced up and saw the approaching sheath. He was a little daunted.

The sheath was vast. Its surface could probably submerge half of the planet. It was horrifying to even imagine it.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The aircraft tried to burn the sheath by directing flames at it. Behind them, numerous jets appeared and joined the battle.

Bands by bands of Bloodlust Centipedes were killed in midair.

However, the Insectoids seemed to have expected resistance. More powerful centipedes quickly filled the hole. They enlarged insanely and lunged at the aircraft.

These were all A-tier Centipedes.

No matter how powerful the mother ship was, it could not sustain the attack from high-tier beasts for an extended period of time. Although its firepower was great enough to fend off the A-tier beasts, it could not exterminate such a huge number of enemies at once.

Due to its size and design, the number of blasters and cannons on this ship was fewer than that of the Floating Castle. Even the Floating Castle could only handle a few A-tiers, not a beast wave of this scale!

“Charge!” Leafsoul bellowed and led the charge.
