Chapter 752 - Evolution—B3-Tier (1/2)
[Beep! Beep! Beep! Take note. Hell Island has officially been opened. The spatial tunnel would stay open for two hours. Those who have tickets please be prepared.]
Inside a giant basement, most people were covered under a black cloak or at least had a mask on. They kept their heads low to avoid being seen while carefully sizing up other participants in there.
There were more people in here than at the Dusk Dragon Auction.
Qin Feng put on the helmet of the Sacred Armor on top of a plain white mask. He had his true aura concealed using dark runes.
Nevertheless, the people around him could still tell that he was only a B-tier. A few A-tiers had bumped into him due to the crowded area, and one of them gave him a challenging glare.
Ironically, they were the same group that was afraid of Qin Feng earlier.
A lot of users knew how to conceal their aura with the dark runes. In fact, many inside the halls were using it. But there was a small group of people who refused to hide their power. In contrast, they tried to deter others with their robust presence.
Qin Feng merged into the crowd. He had actually bought two tickets but he knew he had entered alone when he scanned the newly bought secret territory with his consciousness.
Bai Li was fast asleep in there.
The first thing Bai Li did after they brought back the time territory was to stabilize the spatial rifts inside. She then swallowed all the beast cores Qin Feng had given her, including the A-tier beast deity core that Qin Feng purchased from the auction.
After that, Bai Li returned to her original fox form and went to sleep.
However, she had been sleeping for way too long. Though from Qin Feng’s perspective only four days had passed, Bai Li had actually slept for four straight years inside the secret territory.
Bai Li’s fox figure changed from day to day too. The silver fur had become gleamer. Nonetheless, her body size remained roughly the same. Because she had been frequently staying in her transfigured form, Bai Li seldom used her real body in battle. Perhaps her body had adapted to that and had thus chosen to evolve in a path that suited her battle style.
In fact, Qin Feng felt that her body was getting smaller. Regardless, she was becoming stronger by the day.
When Qin Feng took a peek on the first day, Bai Li had reached B6. She then elevated to B7 the next, and B8 on the third day.
Right now, she has broken through B9-tier.
Probably in one more day, Bai Li would evolve into an A-tier beast deity.
“Quick, it’s our turn!”
A person’s voice came into Qin Feng’s ears. He retracted his consciousness and continued walking.
The weirdest part of this underground palace was its middle zone. There was a thirty-meter-wide vortex there surrounded by silver spatial runes, while its center was filled by both silver and dark intercalating whirlpools.
It was called the Vortex Path to Hell.
The channel was only safe at this time every year. It was still accessible at other times but it required more effort and money. Thus, on most days, only members from Dusk Dragon were allowed to go in.
However, Hell Island was a truly perilous place. Allowing more users to enter annually would help lower the danger level of the place. Otherwise, it would be difficult for the Dusk Dragon members to enter the dimension safely and consistently.
As such, opening the Hell Island to the outsiders, especially the A-tiers, killed two birds with one stone.
Soon, the person queueing in front of Qin Feng quickly jumped down the vortex. It was Qin Feng’s turn next.
Qin Feng jumped with little hesitation and vanished into the highway to hell.
He could not see anything as everything went black in front of his eyes. An invisible force in the surroundings carried him further and further away from the original dimension. He lost sense of time in there and after a while, or perhaps a century later, the surroundings finally began to take shape.
A scorching sun appeared abruptly in the sky. The atmospheric temperature was probably around 40 degree Celsius.
He found himself plunging from midair.
Underneath him was a borderless forest. He did not know what to expect as he had yet to expand his consciousness sensor.
