Alexander was speechless. He did not know whether he wanted to laugh or cry. 'How could my Evelina be this vicious and sassy?'

”Alexander?” she asked while kissing his neck.

Alexander was astounded by her actions. He was trying his best not to be tempted and lured to her intimate gestures.

”Evelina,” he whispered on her ear, signaling her to stop.

”…” Evelina did not respond and picked up where she left off. She continued kissing his neck, marking hickeys on him.

Alexi turned back, not wanting to see the couple. 'They are absolutely tormenting me, assaulting my heart! They should also consider that I am here, experiencing a heartbreak'

”Evelina, stop it,”

”…” she still did not respond, making Alexander even more anxious about her actions. There was still a certain person in the room. Alexander knew that they have built a close relationship with Alexi however, he did not want to unveil what he and his wife, Evelina, do in their private time.

”Evelina!!” his voice was loud yet still maintaining a sense of gentleness.

Alexander got rid of her arms that were clung onto his neck.

Evelina complied with his command. Her face that was filled with smile and energy now turned into an emotionless façade. Her face saddened in an instant.

She scowled, avoiding his eyes, ”Hmph!!” she harrumphed as she crossed her arms.

Alexi deciphered that there was no kissing that he was hearing anymore. He slowly turned back and his eyes landed on the disappointed and disgruntled Evelina. She seemed to be dissatisfied that he was provoking her and ended up being scolded by her husband, Alexander.

Alexi realized that he just ruined the good mood in the atmosphere. He regretted that he should not have provoked and challenged her.

”Evelina!! Don't take my jest seriously! Hahahaha…you need to calm down,” Alexi was trying to warm up the gloomy atmosphere

'Geez…what an easily upset person! Evelina needs to grow up. She also needs some ”controlling your emotions training” this might affect her performance and it might be one of the reasons that hampered in her journey'

”Evelina,” Alexander took hold of her shoulders, making her look at him. He simply wanted to scold her for her barefaced actions. Although he loved kissing her, he did not want to allow her to kiss him just because of a simple jest made by their close friend, Alexi. It was somehow like she was provoking him. ”Evelina, what you just did is unruly. It is quite rude,”

”…” she released her hands that were on her arms, gradually showing her willingness. Evelina was pissed off of Alexi. 'Well, since it is my husband who is scolding me, then I will just obey him'

”Evelina, look at me,” his right hand touched her left cheek, ”I want you to grow up. I want you to be more not sensitive. Do not be easily upset or hurt, it might affect your friendship with anyone. You know, you have to understand that he was simply jesting and fooling around. You need to learn to go with the flow,”

'Thank goodness! Alexander finally realized! Man, you are such a good husband, scolding your spoiled-brat wife. Alexander, you must correct her from her mistakes or else, she might screw up everything that we have been preparing!' Alexi was secretly praising Alexander for his deed. Indeed, he also thought that Evelina was wrong. 'She is going to be such a huge headache in the future. I hope that Alexander will be able to cope up with her way of behaving'

Alexi exhaled deeply, ”Now, now… I will just leave you guys here for good… hehehehe,” he waved his hand, bidding goodbyes to the couple. He thought that it was the rightest way.

”Oh, no you don't. Don't you dare go outside, Alexi,” Alexander turned to face him, ”Please, if you don't mind, please stay here as soon as possible,”

'Oh, my. It must be better not to be with these two! They are tormenting my heart! I do not want to taste the dog food that they are giving me!'

Alexi regained his composure, ”No, it is alright. I must leave the two of you here so that I could not interfere you, people, in your private time,”

As soon as Evelina heard his answer, her eyes and lips spontaneously curved into a smile.

”Yes, that would be—”
