”Do you have any question left?”
Lin Xiao then looked at Lan Qing Xi for a moment. ”Does it mean you're not going to be a citizen of this kingdom?”
”I was never Sun Kingdom's citizen and I only come here through sheer luck. But if it's within my capabilities, I'll help Sun Kingdom if it's for you, Your Highness.”
His meaning was clear. If it was for Lin Xiao, Lan Qing Xi didn't mind helping Sun Kingdom. But if it was for other people, he would not even think of coming to this place ever again and just continued with his path forward.
”That's great.” Lin Xiao smiled.
”Anything else?”
”Yes. Are you leaving with Fan Pan?”
Fan Pan?
The name startled Fan Ling so much that she nearly tripped on the air. She looked at Lin Xiao with bewilderment, not understanding what makes Lin Xiao uttered her cousin's name so suddenly.
On the other hand, Lan Qing Xi was silent for a moment before he sighed. ”It seems that you're not as stupid as you look like.”
”I don't look stupid!” Lin Xiao denied.
Lan Qing Xi chuckled. ”Yes, we'll leave together.”
”I see. Should I assume that I will meet you again during 20 Years Ancient Battleground?” Lin Xiao asked.
”if you make it in time.”
”Oh.”
Lin Xiao nodded. He no longer asked anything else from Lan Qing Xi and the group left the residence. On their way back, Fan Ling looked like she was dying to know how Lin Xiao even made the connection with her cousin.
He didn't answer her, though. After all, he was only thinking about the possibility since Fan Pan looked like someone who had heard so much about the outside world even though he was still so young. His guess must be that Fan Pan had already come into contact with someone from outside.
And his guess was true.
That someone was Lan Qing Xi, another genius who was quite eccentric.
”You should return back to Fan Family while I have my preparation to meet with those from Jade Snow Kingdom and Bing Yue Kingdom.”
”…Yes, Your Highness.”
Even though Fan Ling still wanted to know more, she had no choice but to return back.
In the academy, Lin Xiao didn't meet with anyone who wanted to challenge him and his ranking settled at 488. He managed to get the reward:

Five hundred one to one thousand: get 100 Spirit Stones per month and also 1 hours' chance to study in either one of the rooms.
The others chose to spend their time in the library in order to understand more of their skill while Lin Xiao borrowed their specialized training room for 10 hours. He was curious about how they would set it up.
”This is the Training Pavilion?” Lin Xiao didn't see anything different from this massive building.
The manager who was staying there chuckled when he saw Lin Xiao. ”Is this your first time here?”
