Chapter 370: Lu Jian’s Family (1/2)

It was out of his expectation that even the guards were close with Lu Jian. Was it because Lu Jian was also an easy going person who could easily make friends?

Lin Xiao wondered about that.

”Is Grandfather home?”

”Old Master Lu is home.” The guard nodded and pointed inside. He then noticed Lin Xiao who was following Lu Jian. ”And this is?”

”This is my friend and also the one I followed in the academy,” Lu Jian introduced. ”His name is Lin Xiao.”

”Hello.” Lin Xiao nodded.

The two guards were stunned. They naturally had heard the additional name of the prince that was only recently found and quickly saluted politely. They didn't dare to act impolite in front of an Imperial Family member.

Lin Xiao was stunned and waved his hand. ”There's no need to be so polite…. Lu Jian, let's just go in.”

Lu Jian laughed when he saw how awkward Lin Xiao acted. Since Lin Xiao still just got his newfound identity as a prince, it was clear that Lin Xiao was not used to be respected all the time. He patted Lin Xiao's shoulder. ”You'll get used to it soon.”

”Tsk.”

The two youngsters walked into the house and Lin Xiao quickly noticed the garden. It had the faint smell of nourishing herbs and also peaceful atmosphere. Recalling how the guards were also treating them warmly, Lin Xiao felt that it was indeed very suitable for Lu Jian.

Warm family was indeed the best.

The building had ancient feeling but at the same time, it was still in very good condition. The structure was made out of wood and certainly gave off comfortable atmosphere, one that Lin Xiao personally liked too.

”Grandpa! I'm back!” Lu Jian shouted when he was near the main entrance.

”That's Lu Jian's voice!”

”Wha-? Third Brother Lu is back!”

”Really?”

”Where's he?”

Hearing the sound of youngsters, Lin Xiao was stunned. He glanced at the back of the main building before him. There were children?

But before the children could scramble out, there was a roaring, ”LU JIAN! WHAT ARE YOU DIONG HERE?”

Lu Jian's body shuddered. His face turned pale as he stood stiffly. ”T…that's my father.”
