Chapter 56: Escape (1/2)

Splash!

Water was splashing and Lin Hou found it difficult to see his surroundings. Thanks to his attempt to use Moon Evasion countless times, his Qi was already depleted. He had no other choice but to retreat and got out of the river.

Splash!

”There!” Luo Lan, who still had pig like appearance, saw the commotion and rushed over. Behind him, Bai Xin also rushed over.

The two of them stopped before the river as they saw Lin Hou got out. Luo Lan planned to go inside immediately but when he saw Lin Hou's face, he burst out laughing. ”Wahahahahaha! You're so handsome!”

Lin Hou's face darkened as he gathered his remaining Qi and punched Luo Lan. Thanks to his greater speed and power, Luo Lan didn't get any chance to block before he was thrown straight into the river.

Bang! Splash!

Inside the river, Luo Lan held the urge to curse when he saw the muddy water. He couldn't see anything, ah! Slowly, Luo Lan struggled to get to the shore once more.

At this time, Lin Hou was trying to think where the two of them possibly go. He couldn't see them properly inside the water, but he could guess that they must be villagers here. The river was located at the side of the village, so they might be using the river to get away.

But, there was one important thing: these two had to breathe.

When they appeared, Lin Hou would surely land a punch on their faces. He was pissed because he was dragged to fight under the water, a fight that was clearly unfavorable for him.

”They're under water?” Bai Xin asked as she watched Luo Lan climbed out without any intention to help. She was still annoyed at this peeping tom who dared to sneak into her room without remorse before.

Lin Hou nodded.

Glancing at the water, Bai Xin's brows creased. The muddy water clearly made it impossible for her to look at whoever was inside. This also soured her mood because she didn't want to enter inside.

”Tsk, you really have foul temper,” Luo Lan complained as he got out.

Passing a glance at Luo Lan, Lin Hou asked, ”Do you see someone got out of the water?”

”What?”

”Do you see anyone inside?” Bai Xin rephrased the question.

Luo Lan tilted his head then shook it. He didn't pay much attention when inside. Besides, with the water so dirty like that, how could he possibly see anyone. ”I don't.”

Lin Hou furrowed his brows. He looked around the water, waiting for those people to go up in order to breathe. Yet, even after waiting for a long time, he couldn't see anyone showing their faces.

His expression turned dark.

”What should we do?”
