The representatives will come?

Lin Xiao's eyes narrowed. This village was located at remote place, so it was not weird that it would take a few days for the messengers to reach the sect. However, for them to only arrive after two months only signified that this was not the only village who reached out.

They might have been queueing for some time before it was their turn.

'They're finally here.'

”I understand.”

”The… the elders also say to behave,” the young man said hesitantly. He knew full well that Lin Xiao was the opposite of what a behaving young man would be. No one who heard the name Lin Xiao would know that he was a complete troublemaker who only knew how to mess around.

The young man was still worried, but he was only a messenger. After bidding farewell, he returned back to the village.

”Huh? Behaving?” Lin Xiao snorted. He had realized that the elders' words back then were true. Taiyi Sect was indeed destroyed, but it still didn't mean that he was happy with the elder's decision to switch allegiance so quickly.

But in other perspective, it was only a meant of survival.

Returning back home, Lin Xiao told Lin Yun and Wenren Yu about the message that came. He also reminded them that the elders already decided to switch allegiance from the moment they heard that Taiyi Sect was destroyed back then.

”This might be a backwater village, but it's still a place with a lot of people inside,” Lin Yun said with a solemn expression. ”What do you plan to do, Brother?”

”Me? I'll just be myself and attend the gathering. They're going to welcome the representatives first tomorrow and it meant free food for me.”

Lin Yun: ”…” is it time to think about food?

Wenren Yu: ”…” how carefree.

Lin Xiao chuckled when he saw their expression. He glanced out of the house and shrugged lightly. ”There's no point in worrying about what's going to come tomorrow. Since the representatives will come sooner or later, we just need to be ready to welcome them.”

”Do you have any plan to join a sect?” Wenren Yu asked timidly. He didn't really like talking about other sects because it would remind him of his sect, Taiyi Sect. Even until now, he didn't manage to gather any news and could only stay low to avoid the probing eyes that he might encounter outside.

Lin Xiao shook his head. ”I only have plan to join Taiyi Sect in the past. There's no other sect better than Taiyi Sect in my opinion, so I don't plan to join any other sect.”

Raising his head, Wenren Yu looked at Lin Xiao. The pure determination and truth within Lin Xiao's eyes only made him recalled his friends back then. Those who joined Taiyi Sect came from different places, but they have one similarities.

They didn't want to join any other sect but Taiyi Sect.
