Chapter 211: Cheyenne of Aztec (1/2)

Kaleyx crinkled her nose at Jake, ”You mean, there is another celestial like me?”

She did not like where their conversation was going.

”Yes,” Jake admitted while smiling.

He had withheld the information long enough and now he got to see a look of disbelief on Kaleyx's face. It was worth it.

Jake told her, ”Cheyenne is the princess of Aztec. She was born into royalty but for her to possess a celestial bloodline, she is probably in the same situation as you.”

He pushed away his meal cart as he was done with it and stood up.

Walking towards Kaleyx, Jake grabbed the newsletter in her hands while she still tried to process the words Jake said a minute ago.

”...Hmmm, it says here that after the shipwreck of the surviving Aztec crew, she and a lucky few others washed up to nearby islands and later found themselves in the sect. They joined the sect as a student of the academy and ushered in a new take on the power of the younger generation. Apart from the Aztec crew, there were other people belonging to the other kingdoms that survived. They were also part of this amalgamation of the young generation,” read Jake.

If he remembered well, he was an indirect cause----or maybe the direct cause of the Aztec's shipwreck.

He reckoned quite a few people survived but couldn't help wanting to check who actually died.

Also, since his escape was masked by the attack of the sea serpents, even if his identity was found out by one of the surviving crew, he would just be pegged as one of the lucky few that survived.

Jake continued reading the newsletter, ”The chief disciple of the sect, despite proven to not be a deterring force to this new batch of talents, has announced with his team the monthly update of the disciple's ranking.”

It was then that Jake realized one of the characteristics of a sect; It was all about fighting for a position.

In fact, it was strange that the chief disciple had not yet been overthrown but only defeated. This showed that he or she was destined to be the sect master despite his inferior strength.

He was probably the best option for the sect elders and had the reputation and character to back it off.

”First on the list is Cheyenne Aztec. This princess need not be talked about again. She boasts of only a mysterious bloodline. Yet, her natural talents carried her to this point. As of now, she had fought multiple students as well as sect elders but had not lost a single match. In the sect master's word, she is an unstoppable force. Her current strength is [Realm-3 Stage-3]” Jake read line for line.

It seemed that Kaleyx had gotten over the information bomb and listened to Jake's entertaining words.

”Second on the list is another from Aztec, Jaya. As an orphan of Aztec, this young lady had gone out of her way to be the best of the best. Her main strength lies in her dual swords, strange variant elements, and also her bloodline. Of course, her pure talents which were said to be above five stars attributed to this. Her current strength is [Realm-3 Stage-3]” read Jake.

Having been one of the few to actually know Jaya, he wasn't surprised that she survived and also that she had grown strong.

However, he was shocked about the bloodline part. He had no idea about that but then again they probably also weren't aware of that.

His bet was that her bloodline was awakened by a traumatic experience like the shipwreck!

”Third on our list is yet another person from Aztec. He goes by the name, Nico and is the titled owner of godly strength. Just like his title, he possibly has the strongest physical power. Not just that, he is yet again another person with a variant element, and superior talent. His current strength is [Realm-3] Stage-2,” read Jake.

His mouth twitched as he read the details around Nico.

First of all, the crazy bastard had finally tapped into half of his potential and was likely a dangerous opponent.

After remembering their last encounter, he graded Nico as a greater threat than Jaya.
