Chapter 102: There is something I need from you (1/2)

”Young master Chen, you are still so kind. Royal father has wronged your family so much yet you don't seem to have anything against me”, Zi Mingxi spoke. Her words were like the singing of an oriole which soothed the mind and heart of Zhan Chen.

”Princess, you jest. How can I have any resentment towards you no matter what is the reason?”, Zhan Chen smiled towards Zi Mingxi.

Zi Mingxi also smiled slightly but moved her gaze away due to embarassment. She was always such a lovely girl and Zhan Chen didn't find any changes despite the years he had not seen her.

”Then what about the agreement? If you find it disagreeable then you can say so”, Zhan Chen looked towards Zi Mingxi.

”I don't have any problem with it. It is just that it is slightly rushed and I don't know what to do with it”, Zi Mingxi replied with a shy voice. Her cheeks became reddened as she voiced. her opinion to Zhan Chen.

”What about you, young master Chen? Do you like me?”, Zi Mingxi asked while drawing circles with her left toe. She didn't even look at Zhan Chen due to embarassment. But her heart beat became quickened as a feeling of nervousness and anticipation flooded her mind.

Zhan Chen looked at Zi Mingxi who was doing her best to not look at him. Her cheeks were reddened as if she had asked some embarrassing question.

Zhan Chen felt his hear melting after seeing such a lovely appearance of Zi Mingxi.

”Princess, your charm is so great and I still have a heart here. So, how can I said that I am not interested?”, Zhan Chen smiled towards Zi Mingxi.

Zi Mingxi felt relaxed after hearing the words of Zhan Chen but his next words made her feel uncomfortable again.

”But there is something which you don't know about me. I have already accepted some girls as my women. So, I don't know what do you think about it?”, Zhan Chen looked towards Zi Mingxi with a serious look on his face. It was a common truth and Zhan Chen want Zi Mingxi to make her own choice after knowing about such things.

He was fine with either of her decision. Zi Mingxi was someone who Zhan Chen considered as a friend and he wouldn't hide such matters from her which would made her sad in future.

Zi Mingxi became silent for some moments as she didn't know what to say. Some childhood memories crept up to her mind as she threw a look at Zhan Chen. Zhan Chen had a focused look in his eyes as he was waiting for her decision patiently. Zi Mingxi could feel his concern towards her from his eyes.

”Young master Chen, I don't have any opinion about others. It will be good as long as you agree to marry me”, Zi Mingxi spoke as she looked towards Zhan Chen with her limpid eyes.

Zhan Chen looked at the charming face of Zi Lingxi. He didn't give any reply to her but he went forward and before she could react, planted a kiss on her beautiful lips.

Zi Lingxi blushed as she understood what just happened. She threw a look at Zhan Chen who was leaving the guest hall.

”Princess, you can't run away now. You are my, Zhan Chen's woman from now on”, Zhan Chen spoke without turning his back towards Zi Lingxi.

Zi Lingxi felt sweet in her heart as she looked towards Zhan Chen without blinking her pretty eyes. Only a sound of giggling made her came out from her stupor.

”Girl, what is with your look? It seems like you have fallen for him in your first meet”, Zi Nuan asked to her niece.

”Aunt”, Zi Lingxi's cheeks became reddened like an apple after hearing the teasing of her aunt. Zi Nuan chuckled after seeing the embarassed look on her niece's face. A look of reminiscence appeared in her eyes but she managed to supress her emotion after a moment.

”Lingxi, what do that brat say? Is he got any problem with the arrangement?”, Zi Nuan asked. According to her opinion such arrangement was too absurd. She was still angry with her father for such arrangement for Zi Lingxi. But after seeing the appearance of Zi Lingxi, she felt like she was being angry for no reason.

”Aunt, he has not changed at all. He has agreed to marry me. We have a good conversation with each other”, Zi Lingxi spoke in a sweet voice. Her eyes were dreamy as she talked about Zhan Chen. Her expression was like a maiden in love for the first time.

”A good conversation! Just what did that brat do to her?”, Zi Nuan exclaimed in her mind. The aunts of Zhan Chen entered the guest hall and her attention shifted to the Zhan family people.
