”If I said I was going to visit my brother, he would not be happy.

That's probably true. Part of the reason I started living on my own in the first place was out of consideration for Kayo and her sisters.

My brother-in-law and brother-in-law aren't always accepted by the people around them. Kengo is a good example. If it's a child's quarrel, fine, but more than once the adults in the neighborhood have been sarcastic about it, too.

If it was just me, I'd just ignore it, but considering what Riko and the others were being told, I couldn't live with them.

It was such a trivial matter that I started living on my own because I had this house that my parents had left me.

The two of them coming to stay and visit me is the end of the world.

You can't just come quietly for any reason. You don't want them to worry that they might have been kidnapped, do you?

When I say that, they won't be able to say anything. These two are smart enough to reflect on this alone. For now, I let them in and call my uncles.

It seems they were still worried about me, and they go straight into scolding mode.

The time is now 5pm. A car would be at the girls' house by 7pm. It's not late at all. The three of them decided to stay the night, in spite of my empty mind.

But from the amount of luggage I'm carrying, they have every intention of staying for the duration of the event.

It's been a long time since the four of us have had dinner together, but for some reason it was decided that I would make the dinner. However, what I made was boiled rice. Because the number of people had increased, we hastily changed to one-pot dish.

The three of us eat in a hurry. Do I want to play the game that badly... no, I'm the same way.
