16 Chapter 15: Evolution.txt (1/2)
The difference between normal creatures and those called demons is divided by whether they evolve or not.
Each time a demon evolves, it becomes more powerful, and a demon that evolves many times becomes powerful enough to cause disasters sometimes.
In order to evolve, certain conditions must be met.
There are many conditions, but basically, you have to eat other monsters.
Eating a monster does not mean that you can eat any monster. Each monster determines which monsters you must eat to evolve.
There are not only one kind of monster but also several kinds of monsters.
You don't have to eat all of them. You can evolve if you eat only one kind of monster.
By the way, goblins also need to eat monsters in order to evolve.
Demons that require you to eat them have a relatively easy time evolving. But goblins were harder to evolve from.
Goblins living in the Great Forest in particular rarely evolve.
The reason for this is that there are few monsters in the Great Forest that can evolve into goblins if they eat them.
Furthermore, those few monsters are so strong and powerful that they are either impossible to defeat or so poisonous that they can't be eaten.
However, the ”Arrowspider” is a demon that can evolve into a goblin by eating, lives in the Great Forest of Furazes, is edible and not very strong.
However, the Arrow Spider is a big spider monster, and at a glance it looks inedible.
In fact, it's so bad that no goblin would go out of his way to hunt it down and eat it.
By the way, Bellamus knows roughly what demons need to eat to evolve.
In a previous life, there was a demonology department that specialized in studying demons.
He learned it from his research.
This time Bellamus will hunt down an arrow spider and feed it to the goblins to evolve.
Depending on how it's cooked, it could taste pretty bad, but still taste good enough to eat.
