11 11. Yu Wang came to the Hongmei Courtyard. (1/2)

Nanny Mo's eyes seemed to have dark eye circles when they woke up the next day. This old maid worried all night thinking about the reply Wangye would give to Wangfei's response to her husband last night. The old maid didn't know that after Xiao Gan had received the news that Wangfei was resting, Wangye only mumbled softly and immediately went to his room to rest without doing anything.

”Nanny Mo, what happened to you?! Why do you look so bad? Did you not sleep well last night?”

Su Qingyi looked surprised at Nanny Mo's appearance, which looked very ugly while she's cooking in the kitchen. She had thought that she's been approached by a ghost. Fortunately from Nanny Mo's body, this young woman did not feel the Yin-qi so she knew that the person approaching her was still human. But, looking at Nanny Mo's looks she almost can hold her scream, very embarrassing.

Nanny Mo looked embarrassed at the question from her young mistress. She woke up a bit late and realized that Wangfei had woken up and was busy in the kitchen so she didn't have time to tidy up her face which must have looked bad due to lack of sleep last night. She was very worried about Wangye's response to last night because of her young mistress's refusal.

”It's nothing, Wangfei. This old maid only had a lot of thoughts overnight so it was difficult to sleep, maybe because this maid was already old so it was easy to worry. Wangfei doesn't need to worry.”

”Alright then. Nanny Mo, you are getting old, you better not worry too much. It's not good for your health. This Wangfei wants you to live long.”

”This old maid will obey Wangfei's orders. This maid will take care of her health, so she can serve Wangfei even longer.”

Su Qingyi smiled faintly at the response of the old maid who had served her for a long time. She likes this middle-aged woman because this woman cares about herself without asking for compensation. This old maid takes care of her like her child, make her feels close to the maid.

”Nanny Mo, can you find out if Wangye has woken up and if he interested in having breakfast with me?”

”Yes, this old maid will find out.”

Nanny Mo was about to send one of the young eunuchs to fulfil the orders of her young mistress when one of the eunuchs who worked at Wangfei's residence hurriedly walked into the kitchen.

”Wangfei, Wangye came looking for you. He was waiting to have breakfast with you in the dining room.” Xiao Qi, one of the young eunuchs sent by butler Chen to serve Su Qingyi was seen in a hurry to deliver a message to her.

”Oh, I just wanted to bring breakfast to Wangye's place again so this Wangfei could take him to breakfast together. This Wangfei didn't think that Wangye would come to the Hongmei Courtyard.”

Glancing at her maids, Su Qingyi told them to bring the breakfast she had finished making to be taken to the dining room. Her husband must have been impatiently waiting for her cooking so he immediately came without being sought. Unexpectedly, Wangye is a connoisseur for foods. But, it's good maybe by doing all this, Wangye will be nicer to her. She did not need Wangye to love her so much if her husband could care, and act better as a husband. All of that was good enough for Su Qingyi to be able to live comfortably.
