The sun was finally setting down behind the mountains and the sky finally turned orange-red. It was about evening by the time that Suyin and the Shi Zhang had arrived in Meifeng's resident. The crowd of people who were engrossed in the outcome of this mess had followed behind Suyin and the Shi Zhang, as well as two familiar people that hung out in the back of the crowd to avoid any disturbance.

Qin Fuhua and Weizhe borrowed some common clothing of the Jiao after obtaining consent to leave and attend Suyin in action with her solution to the village, so they were hidden in the black with a blue cloth covering half of their faces.

”Suyin, I um.. apologize..”

Huang Wen tried to finish his sentence but his sister, Meifeng cut him off,

”More like, I kicked his ass for you, and for myself.” She crossed her arms. ”I personally am sorry about my stupid brother though.”

Suyin raised her hand to stop Meifeng from apologizing. ”It's fine, someone had explained it to me.”

Luckily, it was Zhaohui who revealed Shi Zhang's plan. If it wasn't for that, she would have probably kicked him too. Fortunately, he was Meifeng's brother, so she did the job for Suyin.

The Shi Zhang sat inside and remained patiently as Meifeng offered him tea. ”Shi Zhang, thank you for coming into my home. I apologize if it isn't as big as your home, but please be comfortable and feel free to ask for anything that I can personally provide.” Meifeng stated, smiling at Shi Zhang as he graciously accepted the tea.

”It's no worries. It feels just right at home!” He tenderly said and took a sip of tea as he watched Suyin enter the child's room.

Suyin had already written down the prescription of herbs and materials needed to make the medicine and Shi Zhang's servant had acquired the requested items. All Suyin needed to do now was to wait for the water to boil so she could make it a liquid drink to let the child drink it.

”Has he been feeling better?” Suyin watched him rest, his eyes closed.

”No. After the incident with my brother, I woke up back at home with my brother here. He didn't realize how bad the situation was with my son.” Meifeng sighed, concerned about her son's sickness.

Meifeng turned to Suyin and held her hands, just like how Suyin first did when she first met her.

”Please, help my son. I really believe you can do it.”

Suyin grinned and responded, patting her hands. ”I know I can do it. Just trust me.”

Just then, a ruckus was created outside of Meifeng's home which made them bustle outdoor to see what was happening.

”Who the hell are you?! And what right do you have to come barge right in here?!” One of the villagers approached one of the soldiers who held a spear.

Suyin couldn't recognize them as Qin Fuhua's soldiers because they were dressed differently from the ones that were outside the Shi Zhang's home.

”The Prince of Long is here in present and you don't appreciate it?!” Another guard shouted, shoving the villagers to the side.

”Prince of Long...?” Suyin turned to scan for Prince Jianyu's face and located him from afar. He was wearing attire similar to one when she saw him earlier with Zhaohui: cotton, light green cloak to contrast his light blue, silken robe.

”Stop harming the villagers! Have I not told you to stop using force?” Long Jianyu hastened to the soldiers and forced them away. The soldiers gazed at the ground in humiliation.

”B-But we were just making your job easier--”

”No, I have already told you to not interfere with my business.” Long Jianyu addressed.

The crowd watched Prince Long Jianyu lecture his soldiers, unimpressed how they were behaving in their village. Just when Long Jianyu turned around to leave the area, he spotted a familiar face staring straight at him.

”Suyin?!” He called out.

Suyin waved at him and ran up to him with a big smile on her face. You could tell the height difference between the two when Suyin stood in front of Long Jianyu. She only reached his shoulders, but he was happy to see her doing well, staring down at her. ”What are you doing here?” Jianyu peeped at the crowd and the direction that she ran from and leaned towards her to whisper in her ear.

”Is this your chore you were talking about?” He whispered. Suyin chuckled and responded.

”Pretty much.” She answered.

Suddenly, a gloomy aura could be felt around the crowd, as if an (imaginary) sinister cloud had hurdled over all of them.

Weizhe turned to Qin Fuhua. His gaze targeted on Prince Long Jianyu and Suyin with a somber expression on his face. He wanted to say something to him, but like what the saying goes, *”When a mute eats dumplings, he knows how many he has eaten.”

*(Meaning: This is used to point out that Weizhe knows the situation quite well, yet says nothing.)

Qin Fuhua's gaze was as sharp as a brand new sword that could easily cut anything that would fall in front of it. The people began to feel an ominous atmosphere near the two (Weizhe and Qin Fuhua), so they decided to keep a good distance away.

”Your Highness.” The soldiers waited for Prince Long Jianyu to follow them, as he nodded his head.

”This isn't the right timing to see you now, but I will see you, for sure soon?” Jianyu requested from Suyin, who happily nodded at him.

”Of course! Good luck, Prince Jianyu” Suyin hurried back to the home while Long Jianyu marched off to another area of the village, a location near the villagers.

Upon arriving back to Meifeng's residence, Suyin had given her (Meifeng's) child the medicine to drink. Suyin, Meifeng, and Huang Wen sat down in a circle, anticipating for the child to react to the medicine. He had been sleeping more than usual recently and didn't have any strength to get up. The Shi Zhang remained in their living room, nonchalantly idling at the side.

”Mnnn” The child started grumbling, shifting his body to the side as his eyes gently opened.
