20 700 Collection Bonus: Ying Yue (1/2)
There was a beautiful lady who had nothing but her love to help people and her dear mother. She was a young lady, delicate and beautiful was often described by the villagers. She lived in a small town in the mountains.
It was hard to get there because of the road to reach the village, but many people sought for the lady to see her endless beauty and the beautiful town that many believed to be similar to Jiangxi.
The lady's name was Ying Yue. She was the daughter of Chingxi Yue and Jun Li Yue. They lived in a home with a beautiful farm with many resources of food fresh from their land.
Her father was in the war and never came back home to his wife and daughter. Ying Yue's mother was known to be a smart and faithful woman who always waited for her husband's return from the war. As the years went by and Ying Yue began growing up, her mother quickly aged more and more, never giving up that her father would come home from the war. Her mother began having problems with her muscles and had difficulty using her left hand. She would walk around her farmland, looking at the plants and the distance to see if her husband would ever return home.
During this time, Ying Yue had continued to take care of the plants and began planting flowers to accompany her mother with her walks. Ying Yue wanted to find a cure and medicine to help her mother, but because the village was so small and getting any outsider's help was too far (since they lived in a difficult area where you most likely have to hike down to get to other towns), Ying Yue didn't have any other solution.
One day, a nobleman had stumbled upon the village with no memories except his name. His name was Canghai and Ying Yue was the first person he met since their house was the closest to the entrance of the village.
Ying Yue knew that this person didn't come back from the war since he was wearing an outfit that only a family with wealth would wear. She welcomed him into their village and let him stay at their house since the man had lost his memories. She took care of Canghai, showing him around the village and taught him the difference of all of the flowers.
”One day, I hope that there will be a flower that will help everyone feel better.” Ying Yue expressed to Canghai. As time flew by, Canghai's time with Ying Yue caused him to fall in love with the woman. He had expressed his love for Ying Yue due to her generous heart and sincerity. Ying Yue's feelings were mutual, but their love only lasted for a short period of time.
One evening, a group of men came by the house to bring Canghai back. It was time that the cousin of the emperor had to return back home. They had been searching for him for months and the town of Ying Yue's was the last place that needed to be searched. Throughout the whole time that he had been staying there, Canghai lied about his lost memories to hide from his enemies and became too intrigued with Ying Yue and the village.
Betrayed and hurt from Canghai, Ying Yue never allowed him to come back to the village, ever again. Time went on and Ying Yue continued to nurture her flowers and mother. Everyone in the village and those outside the village began to come because of her love for flowers and willingness to help others in need (such as chores, giving out flowers, etc). All the people from the village and those outside loved her, which lead her lover, Canghai coming back to her again.
Although Ying Yue couldn't let go of Canghai, he had promised her that he will help her find a cure to her mother's muscle problems, mentioning that there was something that could temporarily help ease the pain. He was working with a female merchant who was hired to find a source to help Ying Yue's mother.
The female merchant was a person with no name but had fallen in love with Canghai at first sight, which was the only reason she did this. As time went on, and Canghai kept coming back to see Ying Yue, she became jealous that Ying Yue had all the attention and love while she had nothing.
After finding out about Canghai and Ying Yue's love, the female merchant stopped finding a cure for Ying Yue's mother and began to find a way to kill Ying Yue. She was blinded by her one-sided love and the attention that she didn't get from anyone. The female merchant went to buy powdered poison and poisoned the thing she loved the most: her flowers.
