174 Why I Became A Contractor: Part 12 (2/2)

I immediately walked to that door and grabbed my lockpick. I had learned how to lockpick since I was seven since my father told me that. He used to lose his keys inside the car and he told me how to bypass any lock. Thanks, dad.

I opened the door and noticed that the house was still quite alive. The TV was still turned on and the uncle was still watching it on that sofa. I took an aim with my rifle and pulled the trigger. Bullet immediately blasted that head and it pierced that uncle's body and broke the TV.

”Oh, that would be expensive.” the darkroom became darker as the TV was turned off from the bullet that hit it. I progressed to the first floor and started opening the door one by one.

I lockpicked one door and so on until I found something that could be killed. The uncle had around five children and all of them should be in that house. His wife could be sleeping on the top floor as far as I knew, but that was only my prediction.

I stepped my floor into the darkroom of a child. He was very little, maybe around five to six years old. He was sleeping soundly as I entered the room. My feeling and thoughts were racing against another.

It was immoral to kill him since he was only six, but he could serve as potential trouble if I left him alive. With a broken heart, I decided to put the muzzle of my As Val to that boy's head and pulled the trigger.

I shed a tear as the boy had blood flowing from a hole on his head. I shouldn't have killed him, but I had to do it since he was a nuisance in the scheme of things. I got out of that room only to find out that the wife had gone downstairs to check on her children.

Her eyes opened widely as she saw a girl in a full black uniform while wearing a skull balaclava. Before she had any chance to let out any voice, I shot her with my As Val right on the head.

The body dropped down to the ground and I immediately ran to the other room to search for another victim. I opened the room and saw two people were sleeping together inside of a bed. It was a man and a woman that were older than me. They were most likely to be a couple, just to be safe, I shot both of them. Blood was pouring down from the holes and dirtying the clean white sheet of the bed.

I closed the door of that room and continued for the third target. It was said that one of them could be a twin, but I didn't know which room I should be entering.

I found a room and saw multiple baby cribs inside of that room. One was reserved by a toddler while the other two were filled with newborn babies. Killing a child was not an ordinary matter, but a newborn? Did I really have to do this?

The newborn baby was crying as I entered that room. The rifle was dropped to the ground. This was not right. This was wrong. I could not kill them. It was just wrong. Moreover, I had killed their parents. There would be no one to protect them and they would die from hunger since nobody would find the body of that dead family.

There was no turning back. I had to kill them. That was the best thing I could do. I picked up my As Val from the ground and pulled the trigger. The newborn baby was immediately killed and I shot the other two children. My breath became faster. My heart raced as if there was something chasing it down. I didn't know what the feeling was, it was just so wrong.

I couldn't stand looking at those innocent children who had turned into dead bodies for the morgue now. I immediately left that room. There was nothing I could contribute. The whole family was dead and I had no idea how to fix it. However, a job done was a job done and I had to take it.

The once lively house turned into a graveyard in under fifteen minutes because of a raging girl. This was not what I was nor who I was. I didn't fight for justice anymore, it was something too inhuman. All of these murders and all of this sabotage were my only contributions to my personal vendetta.

I walked outside of the house and walked to my motorbike. I turned on the engine of that motorcycle and rode away from that abandoned house. The bodies wouldn't find soon because of the state of the house itself which was very closed.

I bet the news of the murder would spread faster than what I had expected. This would send a strong message to Sissy if she understood it. She wouldn't prepare for it. She would just let all of the threats came to her. When the time came, she would regret it.
