171 Why I Became A Contractor: Part 9 (1/2)
Monday, 5th Of March 2018. Lynn's junior high school. 9-B Classroom.
Farl McFarlane. I swore that the idiot kept chasing ghosts. He kept searching for evidence for things that I didn't do. Still, I knew for a fact that he was a scum that must be exterminated from this face of the earth. There was a reason for that, but most of the time, it was for my personal vendetta.
”Lynn, I told you multiple times. Just admit that you take the 2$ from Lane's bag,” He said.
”The problem is that I didn't take it. Give it up Farl.” I tried to leave the classroom, but that gungho kept obstructing my way.
If the situation was more complicated than this, I would just take my Glock from my bag and shoot him right in the belly, but it wasn't that complicated. A slight push was more than enough to solve the problem at the moment.
I pushed Farl out of my way. I walked out of my classroom and Farl looked pissed when he fell to the ground. He glared at me as I walked in the hallway. He made a phone call immediately, but I didn't know what the purpose of that phonecall was.
The street in front of the school was full as usual. If this was a usual day, I would be waiting for the bus in front of my school, but that wasn't the case since Echo needed my help. I walked to the opposite side of the place where I usually took my bus.
As I walked on the road, I felt something bothering me. As I turned my body around, there was a black van. I took a deep breath. 'Relax, it might be another usual black van. I don't have to do anything.”
I continued walking slowly, but I grabbed my phone. I opened the A.S app and readied the switch function. I walked to an empty road where I would have a place to escape in case someone really wanted to snatch me. The black van kept following me from behind.
I opened the front camera of my phone and the van had opened its sliding door. I had a bad feeling about it. ”Boss! There's the girl!” One of them shouted as the hands became closer and closer to my body. I did a roll to a nearby alleyway to dodge that kidnapping attempt. Two of them disembarked from their vehicle and chased after me.
I hid behind the dumpster. The men that were looking for me wouldn't see what was coming for them as I pressed the switch button on my phone. My school uniform was immediately replaced by my tactical loadout and my SCAR-H was in my hands again.
I left my cover and suddenly, the kidnappers that were looking for a girl that wore glasses were greeted by an unknown person with a tactical uniform and a rifle in front of her body. ”Looking for someone?” I pulled the trigger of my rifle and shot them with my rifle.
Bullets started flying from the barrel. ”Hahahaha, how does it feel?” I shot them multiple times at their feet. I didn't want to kill them, I just wanted to make them suffer. I pulled out the empty magazine and replaced it with a new one.
I walked and took care of the other guy. I touched the barrel of my rifle to his head and pulled the trigger. ”Haha, killing is fun.” There was a car in front of the alleyway.
It was Echo's suburban. Echo was standing right beside his car while looking at something in front of him. As I walked, it revealed what was he looking at. He was looking at the wreckage of a car that was located meters away from his car. Not stopping there, there was another black person with an empty tube on its shoulder.
”Charlie, you've overdone it again.” Echo looked at the burning wreckage.
”Well, they deserve it if what's your newest contact said.” Charlie threw the tube away.
”Hi, nice to meet you.” I walked to them.
Echo greeted me. ”Hi Lima, meet Charlie. She's another contractor.” Charlie just waved her hand.
